This mouse in and of itself is fantastic. The default functions and feel are almost worth the price alone but bundled in with the function button and utility wheel it's really great. Logi options (the software needed) is where this item falls short. It's buggy and make it so your shortcuts no longer work or create annoying pop-ups due to issues with the plugins. If that software worked better this would be an 6 out of 5 stars. But because it functions sooo poorly I have to give it 4.
If you don't plan on using logi options the price is a bit too steep

I used the Performance MX mouse for years and was happy with its quality and design. After upgrading I’m fully convinced that the hype is real. This was the best upgrade that I should’ve made when this new model was released!

Logitech decided to use cheaper materials compared to MX Master 3S. It’s now just super cheap plastic, like you get with the free mouses when you buy a computer. A real downgrade build quality wise compared to the prior master series mouse. Disappointed.

great product. I use a mouse about 10-12 hrs per day and these last for 3-4 years. I am on my 3rd version and each iteration has seen real improvements. I've not seen or used a better mouse in over 40 years of professional computer, engineering and IT use.
