A great product: quality materials, good grip and ergonomics. If I were to find just one defect: the weight. It is noticeably heavier when compared to the previous model. Also, not quite sure about the third button on the side. I end up clicking on it by mistake still today after weeks of use.
Having used every version of the MX master, this one is, for me, unusable. It is much heavier than previous versions, and the ergonomics are such that it is too difficult to grip properly when lifting. In the last version, there was a lip on either side that allowed one to lift the mouse when resetting the position on the desk or when moving quickly around the screen. Now, the lip is gone, and lifting requires enough tension on the hand that it causes fatigue very rapidly and is incredibly annoying.
Never knew I had it in me to get so excited about using a computer mouse, yet here we are. Love the design updates so much! Ergonomics, haptics (!!!), materials—all outstanding. Absolute joy to use every day.
I do dislike the logi options bloatware and ai slop that’s being forced into it—took some time to remove and unassign all that stuff, but now it’s perfectly clean and unobstructed by useless features that some rabid PMs at Logitech are chasing. As long as you provide an option to turn that bloat off—I’m happy. The hardware is THAT good!
I really like the haptic feedback. The feel is very balanced and light. Holds a charge for several days of heavy use. Buttons have a pleasant “soft” click mechanism with good feedback.
Great mouse, it is expensive though. I love the infinite scroll and all the buttons. Works perfectly with my mac and ipad. I waited for this product and it was worth the wait.
This mouse is amazing for productivity with its many integrations, amazing ergonomics, and amazing scroll wheel. The only critique I have is that I wish there was an option for a higher polling rate. I use a 180hz monitor and can feel that the mouse is only 125hz when moving the mouse.
I understand that it isn't a gaming mouse, but I hope Logitech realizes that the people that by mice of this caliber often have high refresh rate displays and should have the option to sacrifice battery for a higher polling rate.
That being said, if you don't know what polling rate is, then it probably won't be a problem for you.
