It’s good, there are some improvements from the master 3. BUT I prefer the 3 much much more.

Hearing that the MX Master 3 still feels like the better fit highlights an opportunity to make the MX Master 4 experience just right. Customizing key mappings and adjusting smart-shift sensitivity in the Options app often restores that familiar workflow feel, so please reach out directly for tailored optimization settings.
It was great until it wasn't. For two weeks, it worked normally, and if it continued like this, then I would have given it five stars. However, it started to randomly disconnect and reconnect throughout the day. Sometimes, it would take 15-20 mins before the mouse would reconnect with my PC. Also, when I move my mouse across the screen, it would randomly click and drag items. It has been getting worse over time and now I just don't use it. I contacted support and provided videos and information, but they still haven't sent me a resolution or a replacement, and it has been another two weeks.

Your experience with the Logitech MX Master 4 is important to us. It’s great to know the mouse initially delivered the performance you expected, though we note the connectivity interruptions and unexpected click‑and‑drag behavior you described. To help us understand this better, please connect with our Social Care team at socialcare@logitech.com and share: Name Email Address Country Brief summary of the issue:
Mouse works well, I do get some lag now and again, but otherwise I would say no issues. It is comfortable in my hand as well. Love the side thumbwheel, but still working on muscle memory for all the buttons.

Thank you very much for your fantastic feedback on the MX Master 4. We're happy to hear you find it comfortable and enjoy the side thumbwheel. If you experience occasional lag, it might be caused by wireless interference or software settings, please try updating the software or using the mouse in a different location. Over time, the buttons should become more responsive with regular use.
Slightly narrower than my old MX Master 3. I have larger hands so I wish they made the MXM4 slightly wider. Also, Bluetooth is very sensitive to interference, so I have to use the external dongle. Otherwise very solid mouse.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on the MX Master 4 – Graphite! We’re glad you find it a solid mouse overall. We hear you on the width compared to the MX Master 3, and we’ll make sure your feedback about larger hands gets to our product team. As for Bluetooth, the dongle is definitely the best way to keep things stable, but we’re always working on improving wireless performance. Appreciate you being part of the Logitech community and helping us make our products better!

Glad you’re enjoying the MX Master 4! We hear you on the software side. Some advanced features do rely on Logi Options, and your feedback on that dependency is noted. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.

That’s a stellar setup you’ve got going. MX Master 4 paired with MX Keys is a powerhouse combo! Smooth build, comfy feel, and those extra buttons with software integration really make multitasking across devices effortless. Love hearing it’s delivering that premium, connected experience for you.
First I will note that the MX3 and MX4 are by far the best mice I have ever used. These aree some highly critical points comparing the two. Comparing to my MX3 that I have used for the last 4 years, I like the side scroll better and the quite click is nice working in an office. The haptic button I find quite useless as it is very slow to respond on my windows computer, and the mouse lift is not AS good as the MX3 if wen you have to reposition the mouse.

Thanks for sharing such a thoughtful comparison between the MX Master 3 and the MX Master 4. It’s clear you appreciate both models as top‑tier mice, but also notice some differences in everyday use. The quieter click and improved side scroll on the MX4 are definite advantages, especially in an office setting. On the other hand, the haptic button’s slower response on Windows and the slightly less refined mouse lift compared to the MX3 are important points to highlight. Your feedback is valuable because it shows where the MX4 excels and where it could be refined further. For anyone considering the upgrade, it’s helpful to know that while the MX Master 4 brings new features, the MX3 still holds its ground in certain aspects of usability.
