It’s ok. It has a lower profile than the 3s, which makes it less comfortable for me. The outer material is better it doesn’t get all oily like the 3s did. It weighs more which is weird. Haptic feedback is whatever, I don’t see a point in it. Not having on-board memory is dumb and there’s no excuse to not have it on all mice in 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the world in your fingertips it’s crazy how customizable this new version is, the functions I use the most I can fit them all in the mouse. It’s very comfy as well, my hand sits just right in it, as someone that spends 8 hours a day designing this is so important to me. It’s very smooth and I love that the charge lasts up to 70 days. I def love the upgrade to the mx 4.

Title says it all. I don't play games on the PC so I can't comment on that aspect, but for general mousin' around it's the best I've ever used. Feels great, controls are responsive without being fussy and it's been dead reliable in both Windows and Linux sessions.

I have owned the MX Master 1st generation, 3rd generation, and now the current version which continues to improve upon the previous versions. Feels more comfortable in the grip. I like that the side scroll is more prominent compared to prior generation making it easier to access.
