As someone with carpel tunnel, this is genuinely an amazing mouse. I program, game and use this for school + work. It's heavyweight and exactly what I needed. The buttons are awesome too
When I squeeze to lift the mouse slightly I will accidentally trigger the back button. This wasn't an issue on the MX master 2s. The button portion is not grippy and even a small amount of perspiration results in accidental clicks.
The Logitech MX4 feels too heavy and doesn’t offer the same comfortable grip as the MX3S. As a trader, I prefer a lighter mouse that’s faster and more precise, and the MX4 doesn’t match the speed and accuracy I need for long trading sessions. maybe because of the weight.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MX Master 4 was my first dive into the MX series. The mouse works well and is quite comfortable, however i rarely get the full benifit from its features. My main PC runs Linux, and its not officially supported. My employer owned PC has limited us to an older version of Logi Options+ that does not support it. My android tablet doesnt have offixal support either. Does run well as a normal mouse and on my windows pc i use from time to time. That being said, this mouse is totally dependent on software for features its know for. It is a solid everyday mouse without them, but not worth the price. Plz give offical linux support.
I find this mouse to be comfortable and ergonomic. Set up was a simple. My only complaint is that the scroll wheel doesn't have hard clicks and can spin for a very long time. This makes using it with games like Minecraft problematic. I find myself accidentally brushing against the scroll wheel when clicking and it will make change what item i had selected.
