the mouse is still almost perfect. the side scroll is much better and I love that the screws are no longer under the skates. but im not a fan of the gesture button placement, as i keep accidentally pressing it. and it is also a bit heavier and without the old rubber surface, making it very hard to pick up (which I do).
The upgrade from MX Master 3 to the 4 is great. The quiet clicks are incredible and the haptic button is great. Two things I've found that I almost prefer on the 3 over the 4 though: 1. I miss the texture in the palm area that the 3 had. Sometime the 4 can feel slick and like I am lacking a bit of control in mouse movement. 2. In that same vein, I find that sometimes on the 4, I have an issue with my thumb moving/slipping up too far when moving the mouse around and then find that my thumb is almost pressing against the two side buttons for stability instead of staying rested in the rubberized haptic button area.
Really? Only charging via USB C, what happens when they axe software support in a few years like the old MX mice, kinda ridiculous and I can't reccomend this mouse to anyone
Ive had this mouse for about a month now and still cant get used to it. The 3s had a much more ergonomic feel and was light. The 4 feels very clunky....
