Design is not ergonomically pleasing to me. It was very unwieldy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Logitech MX Master 4 delivers exceptional precision and comfort, making it perfect for long work sessions. The scroll wheel is incredibly smooth and fast, and the customizable buttons make multitasking much easier. Its sleek black design feels premium and sits perfectly in the hand.

This mouse is without a doubt the best mouse for day-to-day work. I used to use the previous version which I thought was nearly perfect, except for the fact that it would deteriorate over time, but this mouse does now. The fact that the thumb button is even more of a button and the press action is more of a horizontal squeeze rather than a vertical press is perfect. It is extremely easy to set up and connect, and has an insanely long charge and does not need to be turned off in between uses.
Great improvement from the MX Master 3. The functionality of the 4 is reliable and precise. I love the way the fitting of the mouse sits in my palm with little to no effort gliding across the desk. The Actions Ring is an added bonus for functionality where I can customize which apps/actions Id like to execute.
Without onboard memory, I cannot give this 5 stars. Design wise it’s perfect, I just hate having to rely on separate software that crashes, has bugs, or may occasionally not be available on corporate computers
I absolutely love the logistic Master series mice. Have owned the MX 3S for the last 10 years, I don’t know that I could use any other mouse. I’ve been waiting for the next MX mouse from Logitech, and this one is good, but not without its flaws. It delivered on everything the 3 does, the buttons the scroll wheels, the premium feel.
However, when they introduced the haptic feedback, they moved the location of the thin grip button, from the lower left to right inside the grip of the mouse. I am constantly clicking this thing. Additionally, the material design around the haptic button makes it difficult to grip in the first place, so then I click the haptic button even more.
Despite the form factor with the buttons, the thought that went into the customization is incredible and worth a look.
