If you want this for legal sized paper, it will have to remain open & extended 3-4 inches out in front of the unit.

The default sheet tray for our printer is too small and seemingly (and annoyingly) required restocking every time we wanted to print something. This large capacity sheet tray is perfect as it'll hold over a ream of paper. It was super easy to install, taking under two minutes. You can do it yourself, but if you have an extra person, I'd encourage you to save your back. ;-)
