Purchased this Samsung product four months ago even though I'd have nothing but problems in the past. The phone served its purpose. Call quality- good. Internet-good. No real complaints until today. Finally dropped the phone and guess what, screen cracked. First phone I've ever had (over 5 owned) that screen cracked. So much for Gorilla glass. Spoke to Samsung approved repair shop and it's not covered under warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this phone 4 days ago and it is a very good little phone for the price that you pay for it. Except one thing, I have been rumors that it does and doesn't have wireless adaptability. Can you put that to rest please? CN or can't this phone charge wireless even if it has to have an adapter.

I'm really impressed with the screen and the finger print sensor besides the layer of the chassis of the device itself its so streamlined that I couldn't even realize how it functioned, I'm really impressed!

I upgraded from my 3g phone and this is the worst phone I've ever had since 1992 not happy with this product should be recalled

There isn't a single aspect of this phone that works properly.
Freezes and glitches in several apps, keyboard is very inaccurate, battery and charging are abysmal (4 to 5 hours to charge), cameras and pictures are underwhelming, connectivity is unreliable using both mobile data and wifi.
Avoid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great value and features for the price!

i had to laugh when i saw all of the bad reviews of this phone on this site. based on my experience with the phone and all of the research i did prior to buying it, it was pretty obvious that some sort of coordinated effort was at play. i can tell you that for the money, its hard if not impossible to top this phone when you look at all of the bang you get for the buck. where else can you get all the hardware, accessibility, and system and security upgrades at this price? pc magazine and android authority gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars ("outstanding" and "a is for awesome", respectively). wired gave it an 8 out of 10 rating, and tom's guide gave it 4 out of 5 and called it "an incredible value". but don't take my word for it - check my claims out yourself. you won't be disappointed!
