Genius, adorable and engaging

This toy was everything and more for me! My cat is so disinterested in the toys and furniture pieces I get her but this one was a stand out hit. She loves to sit and bat at it for hours on end. The adjustable treat dispenser is genius and works for all the brands I've tried so far too. I'm in love with the way it's reinvigorated my cats energy levels and engagement in something other than knocking things off my dresser. Overall, it's a 5/5 I wouldn't change a thing about it!

Cute fun toy that keeps cat interested

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat is my bestie, so thank you, Petpals and Influenster, for sending the Petpals Grilled Fish Toy to me and my best buddy complimentary for testing purposes. My cat is middle-aged and still plays with toys, although not as vigorously as when she was younger. I wasn’t sure how this toy would go over, but she loves it! As soon as I pulled it out of the box, she was intrigued. This toy has a rotating fish dispenser, so some assembly is required, but it was really easy. No tools or batteries, just very simple instructions with only a couple of steps of snapping pieces together. I loved how easy it was to set up, just a few clicks into place, and then I filled the fish with treats, and it was ready to go! A great feature is that the dispensing hole in the fish allows you to decide how big you want the opening, so you can control how many treats or how easily treats will flow out. When my cat was learning how to use the toy, I left the treat dispensing hole on the easier opening and then changed it once she got the hang of it so it would not dispense too many treats too easily. Within minutes, my cat had figured out that treats would come out of the fish if she hit it. She played with it for HOURS the first night, and now, every day, we hear her randomly playing with the toy all the time; no prompting is needed! I love how engaging and interactive it is and that she is truly interested. I used to worry about her being bored, but this toy has been perfect. There is also a second treat storage location at the base of the toy, towards the flame. Speaking of the flame, the design is so cute! I keep this out in my house and never put it away because its design is so fun and playful. It really looks like my cat has a little campfire going and I love that. The toy is big, as tall as my cat when she is sitting, at 11" L x 11" W x 11"H. It is a very durable, thick construction but still flexible enough that it is comfortable for kitties. For instance, the flame is sort of bendable, so it can handle the cat moving it around. My hits and rolls all over the toy and it does not budge. It is easy to clean. All the surfaces are smooth plastic so that they can be wiped down with water and pet-safe soap. Overall, this is such a fun toy. It is well worth the price. It is engaging and interesting for cats and so fun and cute for humans to watch and display in their homes.

Cool Cat Treat Dispenser Toy

But they all love to spin the center fire to get the treats! One con is I think the bell in the fish should be removed because it’s pretty loud and all my cats got scared when they hit it.

I’d change one or two things..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The concept behind this design is really cute, but there are some things that I would change. At the base, the logs rotate which is meant to work as a “slow feeder” but the fact that my babies see movement like that, stops them from doing anything with the base of the toy. I think that it would be much much better if the base was more of a snuff mat, so that when the treats fall from the fish, they drop down to the snuff mat where they can dig or “hunt” for the treats. It’s kind of a bulky toy that takes up a bit of space, I’d enjoy it more if it were collapsible. My babies are basically only interested enough to lean over to sniff out the treats in the fish and they’ll bat it here and there but they won’t go for the treats if they drop down where the logs are. If it was just redesigned a bit, it would be perfect - but I know other 🐈s will still go for it, mine are just scaredy 🐈s. It’s very cute regardless, and well made.

Entertaining and cute!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cat toy is so, so cute! It was super easy to put together and is very durable. My cat LOVES it! It makes getting treats a fun game and is entertaining for both me and him! You can adjust it so that whatever size treats you put in are easy to dispense and even the wood fire at the bottom provides enrichment. It is such a well thought out toy! I would highly suggest this to any cat owner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the grilled fish toy from Influenster for my honest opinion and for one I think it’s made very good and durable it’s made of plastic but a very thick plastic my cats play with it for hours they love the fact that they have a interactive toy of their own and I like the fact that when I think they’ve had enough treats I can turn the knob and it closes it for the treats to dispense but they can still play with it I feel it’s very safe there are no small part s it was also very easy to assemble if have a lazy kitty I recommend this it will even get them up and playing

There aren't much that can satisfy the little devil but this was fun for her to play around with and still strong enough to stand up against her swatches. She loves it too much though. She's getting fat from making the treats come out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can withstand multiple cats and very i tractive. My cats played with it for a couple minutes then we're bored and wouldn't touch it. So I gave it too my mom for her two kitties and they are absolutely nuts about it! I do like how there are no small pieces and it is quite easy to put together. Absolutely entertaining to watch it getting played with.
