Super Cute!

I have had this cat toy for a week and not only is it super cute but my three kitties love it. The greenies treats are to big for the little holes but that's ok because it was perfect for the smaller treats. The toy was simple to set up my twelve year old managed to do it all by herself and it is the perfect size it hardly takes up any space. As an added bonus to me even my puppy loves it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What a treat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat is super smart and I have different ways to keep him entertained and engaged while I’m at work. Using treats as an incentive is his favorite activity as for most cats. Easy to build, sturdy and easy to load treats. It took my cat some time to learn how to get the treats out but every time I come home the little fish is empty from where he managed to get them out on his own. Very cute toy for cat brain activity.

Perfect to combat boredom & unwanted behavior issues

I got this about 3 weeks ago for my cat to tackle her boredom and keep her active while I’m gone at work, and my cat loves it! It did take time for her to understand how to use and play with the toy. I started off by letting her get used to it being in her environment, then placing her treats inside the fish, on top of the fish, and in the fireplace. This way she knows to seek them out in easy mode. I also taught her to use her paw to push the fish to dispense the treats cause she kept looking at the fish not knowing what to do. Now that she’s got the hang of it she plays with it quite often. It’s very rewarding and I highly recommend it if you are looking to get something that will keep your cat stimulated and bring out their natural instincts.
I will say that you will need to add plenty of treats inside. Once it got down to 5 treats it was getting difficult for it to dispense- you’d need to spin it more and faster for it to fall out. So remember to refill it so your cat doesn’t wonder why there’s no more reward after “hunting” their meal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Earning their treats!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a cute idea! I have 3 cats and 2 have shown interest. The 3rd is just too picky. This was super easy to assemble and has a solid feel. It took a few days but one Boris got the hang of it, he’s spinning the fish all the time. (Couldn’t get the video to upload) Rio sits by and lets him do the work until the treats drop. I also like that once they fall out, they still have to make an effort and spin the fire logs to get the food. Cute idea!

For treat motivated cats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very easy to set up. PetPals Grilled Fish Toy has two areas for treats to be dispensed. The fire area spins and my cat really liked that. He didn’t care about the treats but my cat is not really food motivated. This toy would be excellent for a cat that likes treats.

Fun "puzzle" for treat-motivated cats!

It's easy to assemble and to clean, and she's obsessed with trying to get her treats out of the spinning fish. She now knows that whenever I pick up the fish, I'm going to put more treats in it, and she gets SO excited about it. She'll even tap the spinning firewood, but she's so food motivated that she'll sit and spin the fish for 20+ minutes. I think it's enriching and rewarding for her. I do wish there was another element to it, perhaps a scratching pad underneath the firewood, but it's still a "puzzle" she enjoys. If your cat loves food/treats and is highly treat motivated, this is a fun one! The fish is noisy, though, so I take it off the wood sticks at night before I go to bed.
