Excellent, but not perfect.

While I am not a "Power" user, I do love the functionality and battery life of the watch. The only thing I wish it had was removable spring bars to increase the strap options and make it a solid contender for an all-around everyday dress/tool watch. Then it would be perfect for me.

This Watch Does It All

I have used various smart watches in the past. Being a long-term iPhone user I brought into the hype and used them for years as well. I've tried other competing brands of smart watches i. .e Polar and I believe that overall none compares to the features and function of the Tactix 8 Ambled. It has the most complete availability of health, watch face, and applications for downloading. But for me the best has been the GPS, Map, and ballistic functions. Totally outstanding! Even with my wrist being slightly under 7" I purchased the 51 mm option for the readability of lots of data on the watch face. All in all I am well pleased with my purchase.

Incredible device for the active lifestyle

Got this as a gift. It’s my first watch ever. Having GPS tracking on hikes constantly on my wrist, telling me pace and letting me mark points of interest is awesome. I also love tracking my health and exercise daily. It’s truly a very handy piece of gear that I don’t take off anymore.

A fantastic sportsman's watch!

I've had many Garmin watches over the years and have really enjoyed all of them. This watch is by far my favorite overall. I feel it looks better than the Fenix watch that I had before, looking very rugged yet upscale. So far my software and everything has worked perfectly. No complaints at all.

Great new features but not a strong as the fenix 6

Don’t get me wrong I love this watch but I am disappointed that for the money my screen has a scratch on it from normal wear. My fenix 6 pro took a year and a half before showing signs of wear. This watch only lasted a couple months and already a small scratch. I wish it was built a bit better.
