Was advised by Dr. to purchase this type of air filter. We read it has UV lights inside to eradicate fine particulates a regular true heap filter does not handle. It is extremely quiet during operation. We pray it performs as promised. Have not had units for a long time, so hard to say if they will live up to expectations. So far, easy to use and maintain and the added UV is real bonus for our needs. -K.S.

I bought this for my daughters college dorm becaus

I bought this for my daughters college dorm because of mold in the ac ducts. She was having touse nose spray, inhalers and antihistamines and is off all those medications now because she has the aitr purifier. She can breathe much easier now.

Unit appears to be working properly. Air quality seems better but hard to tell if it has destroyed any mold because mold develops over a long period. The air in the house does seem to be cleaner. We will be able to tell more when we change the filters for the HVAC system. They always fill up with dust and hairs in about 9 weeks. The filters claim they should last about 3 months but we have never had filters last that long. Time will tell.
