I bought two, and the quality control was extremely poor. There was a significant color difference between the two, one had a large seam, and the other had bright spots and dead pixels.
- I buy , try and return lots of monitors, this specific QHD 1440p monitor is the best so far. it even beats other "mini LED" higher end monitors when it comes to SDR brightness an HDR.
Asus is known for great monitors, and this is a very good price for what it has to offer
As of now the panel has seemingly really good colors and is decently bright. Coming from a 1080p resolution the monitor has such good display quality. In the case of you having a monitor light, you will have to 3d print to raise it, as the monitor is too thick so the monitor light would clamp it properly otherwise.
I am so excited to finally have a second screen. For my desktop setup this is about the max resolution and quality it can handle so no need to get a 4K monitor at this point.
Too bad this monitor cannot be used portrait...landscape only.
