Average fake wood file cabinet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today I assembled the file cabinet. It took about an hour (maybe a little longer) to assemble. The directions were pretty straight forward, however, some of the supplies were mislabeled and there were a ton extra of some screws. The quality is just ok. I was expecting it to be a little better. It’s on par with something you may get from ikea (except the drawer tracks were already assembled on the plywood). The cabinet seems pretty durable, but I’d be careful not to scratch it in fear of the paint chipping off. I personally would have liked for it to have another drawer to hold file folders vs one file drawer and 2 smaller drawers for pens, etc. I’d say this should be about a $100 piece of furniture, anything more would not be a great value, especially with the labor required to assemble it. I do like that it comes in black.

Spacious and Chic Filing Cabinet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This filing cabinet is large, spacious, and sleek. The black color is matte with a bit of shine and was taller than I expected. The directions for assembly were pretty straightforward and I only gave it four stars simply because some of the ink of the stickers was smudged, making it take longer to differentiate pieces. I received this product free of charge from Influenster, however I think the quality is worth the selling price and would likely buy something else from this office collection.

Frustrating Build, but Worth the Effort in the End

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cabinet took me three hours to assemble—triple the time suggested in the instructions. The drawers were especially tricky to install and I ended up bending the tracks during the process. I seriously considered dragging the whole thing out to the curb a few times. That said, with some elbow grease and a lot of patience, I finally got it together.
Once the drawers are in, they glide smoothly, and the finished piece looks great. The color is really pretty and fits in nicely with my home office. I’m glad I stuck it out, but be warned: this is not a quick or easy build.

A great file cabinet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this cabinet. It came with very clear instructions that were easy to read. It was also very easy to put together. It took less than an hour. I love the color. The drawers are the perfect size for my filing needs.

Heavier and smaller than would have liked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice filing cabinet, but note how heavy it is (70 lbs). For the weight and overall size, I would have expected it to hold a little more. For us, storing loose papers in a large plastic bin wound up being more space- and weight-efficient. If you don’t need to store much and don’t mind the weight, then this would work for you.
