Works with Dell UP2715K

I can confirm that this StarTech splitter works (on my system) with a Dell UP2715K at 5K and 60Hz. I was able to connect two of these displays (4 DP cable required for 5K) to my RTX 3090 (only 3 DP outputs). Both work at 5K and 60Hz. It is plug-and-play.
This display is infamously difficult to turn on or stay on as Windows loads up (sometimes on macOS too). This happens regardless of using the adapter. On my system, the display powers up when the BIOS loads, but then goes to eternal sleep before Windows loads up. The only workaround I have found so far is to unplug the power cord from the display before booting the PC, and plug it in about 6 to 10 seconds after the boot chime. The problem does not occur on reboot (at least on my system). A final solution would be to have a non-Dell display also connected (which is what I plan to do): when the OS loads on the other monitor, the Dell will magically wake up.
Lastly, I am not sure about the bits per colour, as these displays are nominally 10bpc, but even without the splitter they will run at 8bpc on Windows 11 Pro. However, I cannot discern any visible difference and in fact they look exactly the same as on my Mac Pro. The connections seems to be more stable too (probably due to using full DP, rather than miniDP plugs).
Overall, I highly recommend this splitter if you are in a similar situation as mine. I will soon be buying another one of these StarTech splitters to be able to drive another couple of displays.
