Skin tones should be in the regular pack of crayon

I think it’s not right to have to buy a separate box of skin tone colors. I was enthusiastic to hear that Crayola had introduced this line, but better yet would be not to have to buy a separate box entirely, but for it to be included in the regular package of colors.
That’s what integration would look like.

Packaging image not diverse
on June 3, 2020

The concept of inclusion and diversity sounds great but the package left me feeling excluded. I was excited about it until I looked at the packaging that only show the world have 4 individual colors or race.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cool, I always love new colors!

But, I would always just mix the old colors to make my skin tone, I guess that doesn’t HAVE to be the case. But it was just as fun mixing colors lightly together myself until I started to see my skin tone, yah know?

I love the idea but our dog loves to eat crayons. We use the twistables instead but the colors are very limited.

Marketing team missed chance to change the world.

The world population will always become more and more brownish, and it seems much sexier to identify as "toasted marshmallow", "hot chocolate" or "buttermilk cream". Crayola could have started the new standard with early education, viral hashtags, record sales with this product line.

Very exciting, we'd love to see fabric markers too

My kiddo loves having me stencil his shirt with kiddos from around the world but it's so hard to find multicultural fabric markers for skin tones. We'd love to see Crayola branch out and create a set.

This is wonderful. The multicultural crayons were wonderful, but this is even better! Now when my kindergarten kids create their self-portraits they will have so many more options! Looking forward to more products like this!
