An Amazing Little Device!

Rather than replace our old Play Station 3 for an expensive newer model to stream more movies, we decided to try out the Roku stick. What an amazing little device it is! We stream many more videos than what was available to us on the PS3. The free Roku channel and subscription Disney+ have given us a much better selection of what we can watch. We even notice that the video picture is clearer and more vibrant, even on our older TV. We’re so glad we didn’t have to shell out a lot of money for a newer Play Station just to stream videos!

I bought this a couple of months ago and am so happy I did! Easy to use! So many choices for entertainment! At 76 and 80 years of age life has slowed down for my husband and I. TV watching is our life! With this new Rocu and all the choices we are never bored!

Works great for an older HD TV to allow streaming.

Needed to upgrade an older HD TV for streaming-only programs that weren't available on my current satellite TV service. The only non-satellite internet access in my area is cell phone wifi hotspot. I have experienced a few buffering and freezing incidents. Twice I shut down the Roku stick and rebooted it when it froze. I can't say that these issues are the fault of Roku. The issues are not frequent, and have not prevented me from streaming and watching the movies and programs I've watched. Most likely it is due to the quality of the cell phone service in this area. The majority of programming so far has been great with minimal buffering or freezing issues. Overall, I am satisfied with this Roku HD streaming stick and would recommend it to anyone wishing to upgrade an older HD TV for streaming.

Purchased our 4th unit much better then just having the cable streaming box . We use them in our main home as well as our summer cottage
