It's really nice having the new igniter kit. The original one took a dump after about 2 years, and at that time you could not order it online which seemed to be more of an ordeal than it was worth. Grabbing my Bic fireplace lighter seemed simple enough.

Every few years in the spring it's time to install a new igniter. Weber makes it easy to do. There are problem-solving guidelines, how to order new parts and easy-to-follow instructions on installing the new igniter. Just takes a few minutes and we are good to go...

Turns out I just needed a new button. Old igniter worked fine once connected. My problem is that my ignitor is not the same as this as far as I can tell, good thing the wires were the same.
