Good picture, lacks all he best apps!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice picture, blue tooth audio lagging a bit. Pretty easy set up. Big thing here is that the most popular apps are not available for this particular model (which doesn't make any sense since it has the same UI as many other LG TV and Projector products), so Amazon Prime, HBO, Netflix, none of these are available as an app through the LG Content Store. To fix, try a third party accessory like Chrome Cast or AppleTV. It is a shame though that one woudl have to do that and I will say I probably would not have purchased this particular model. Hoping to prevent the same for other consumers!

One of my favorite things

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked this up a a little over a year ago and it has exceeded my expectations. For the first month or so we just had it projecting against the wall and that was satisfying enough, but once we got a screen up it was a whole new level. Hook this up to a halfway decent stereo setup and you can have a very legit movie night whenever you want. The short throw is absolutely ideal for setup since you won’t need to run and cables around your living room and you don’t have to worry about getting blinded by the beam whenever you walk through the room. There’s nothing that really checks the boxes of quality, size and price like this projector. The only mark I have against it is that the lg App Store seems to be more limited, which isn’t an issue if you have a streaming device you already use (gaming console, Roku, Apple TV).

I just purchased this projector and the picture is great. My issue is ..No NETFLIX, HULU PRIME SPOTIFY? Ive calle din to tech support and no one knows. Some say it should be there uuumm obviously not. Other said it must not support it... 1700 and it doesn't support Netflix, I find that very odd. All i need is guidance.

Low quality, 4 dead pixels after about 30 hours

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this projector about 2 years ago. It's in a movie room and is only used about once a month. We had watched about 10 movies or so for a total of maybe 30 hours? First pixel went dead and was annoying. Within three months another three pixels went dead, all near the center. This is not acceptable and is annoying during dark scenes having bright white dots.
I have had great experiences with LG televisions which steered me towards this projector.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works as expected and it impresses all my friends

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am very happy with the projector. I wont comment on things that are obvious from reading the specs such as the lack of more than two HDMI ports.
The front of the projector is approx 23 inches away from the wall for a 120 inch diagonal picture. My projector is in the living room on the ground floor so there is plenty of daylight in the room. Quality of the picture is very good at night time. During day time, as expected, the picture is visible and tolerable but is washed out and not anywhere close to a TV. I mostly watch TV after kids go to bed so I am happy but for sports fans who need to watch during day time in a well lighted room, this might not work for you. Inbuilt apps include YouTube. There is no app for Netflix or Prime or other popular services. So, I have to use my Roku stick for all that, which takes up one of my only two HDMI inputs. Remote is user friendly. Sound volume from inbuilt speaker is not very loud but is good enough for watching TV. The inbuilt speaker sound quality is very basic. I have attached my projector to a soundbar through bluetooth.
Overall, I am happy with the purchase. No one else among my friends or family has a back throw projector so I get a lot of compliments about how cool it is. I got rid of the TV in my livingroom and replaced it with this projector and I am not going back. But I do wish that the picture was bright enough for daytime use.

I bought this projector in august/2018, lately scratched the mirror projetor, it's was clean very gentle, but the pelicule is so thin, it's suppose not to be cleaned. This is the most important part of projector, and I cannot find a replacement but for this.
