[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the Quest 3! My wife and I use it mostly for the fitness application, Supernatural (great workouts). My daughter loves Vacation Simulator. The head set is high quality and worth every penny.

PassThrough Is the Gamechanger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The META Quest 3 is a big step because of the passthrough function. Being able to see your surrounding with the augmented reality is the big step that was needed. Would highly recommend this headset to anyone looking to jump into VR. I would not go for the Quest 2 because it does not have the passthrough function.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a huge upgrading coming from the Oculus Rift. Going wireless really changes how VR works. What used to take over an hour fussing with sensor setup is now effortless with the Quest 3's room scanning.
I'd say the only downside to it is the headstrap not being great. I bought a better strap that does a much better job holding the Quest in place. But other than that, that's it.
Huge Meta game library with the ability to Stream VR games from your PC gives you access to a ton of content from the start.
Highly recommend getting a Quest 3 if you are an enjoyer of VR and want to experience AR.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that I can walk around to draw my boundary and detect the object to adjust it accordingly. I enjoy not having to use my hands to use the home menu but I work like to be able to use this feature in games. Besides those two features it's not much different than the meta quest 2.

The Quest 3 is AWESOME.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought a Quest 3 for myself after having the Quest 2 for a few years and it's a lot better than I expected. You can definitely notice the increase in quality and performance, and the passthrough is miles better than the Quest 2's. I was especially suprised to see the Mixed Reality and how well it works, and seeing the features in development makes me even more excited!
The weight of the headset is way more balanced with the new headstrap, and it's also a lot more comfortable. Although, the headstrap does take some getting used to.
The hand tracking isn't much better than the Quest 2, but it seems like there's some improvement in that regard. The depth sensor is amazing at mapping the Boundaries and Room Setups, but the outline suggestions for the actual shape of the Boundary isn't that great. It will sometimes add random areas that go inside some walls, but other than that, it's okay.
The controllers are a pretty big improvement from the Quest 2, especially the weight. It's much easier for faster Beat Saber levels, but the controllers sometimes float away and lose tracking because of the fast movements. If you want better tracking, definitely get the Quest Pro Controllers since they track themselves with cameras.
Overall, the headset is the best standalone vr headset yet, and maybe even best ever because of the PCVR features. If you are thinking of buying the Quest 3 or upgrading from the Quest 2, you should definitely buy the Meta Quest 3.
