So far I’m happy. Graphics are sharp. Plenty of space now for 512 GB to download all the games I currently have. Navigating through the selections on the menu is fast. Mix reality feature is really neat and convenient to avoid bumping into things. I haven’t looked back at the metaquest 2. It’s a real nice upgrade and I look forward to the Xbox game pass when it releases soon.

I am just about 60 years old and have never been more intrigued or excited about something as the Quest 3. As a kid who grew up with Pong and Atari you can imagine what this platfrom seems like to me and my generation. I use it primarily for exercise but have also logged my hours with the incredible gaming choices and watching 3D movies. I used my Q2 daily for over a year and purchased the Q3 on day of release. So many awesome improvements and features. Kudos and thanks to the incredible minds who created this. Cheers!

The Meta Quest 3 looks great !

I recently purchased the Meta Quest 3 and is my first vr head set ever . Not having anything to compare it to , I would have to say it looks great . Graphics are pretty sharp considering the price point compared to the other High spec head sets out there .
I like that it is a stand alone headset and you can play games without being plugged into a pc. I bought the 512 GB one so I have plenty of space to download games directly to the head set .
I definitely recommend buying a different head strap and possibly a silicone face cover because the stock ones are pretty uncomfortable over some period of time .
I play a lot of flight sims and wanted to try in vr .
I have had my computer crash a couple of times when playing DCS or Flight Simulator 2023 . Maybe I just need to lower my graphic settings .
Of course vr graphics will never be as good as playing on 2D but it is all about the immersion at this point in time .
All in all great first vr head set experience .
Can’t wait to see how Quest puts out future gaming titles and apps for productivity.

This device is amazing. Pass through is leaps better than quest 2 and knowing meta the experience will continually be updated and improved. Can’t wait for more MR experiences from all the devs.

Overall, this is an amazing headset I haven't used VR since 2017 and this shows me how far the space has come. But for the amount of money that I had paid, there are little inconveniences that I think should have been better design. Head strap quality and battery life limitations are the two big ones for me.

Not fully ready to professional use as desktop

I bought to use as desktop or extended monitor.
The monitor are good, but there is still some quality issue.
Pass through was not very good and made me sick.
Watching YouTube videos also made me sick.

Seems very close to the point, maybe software updates will resolve issues, maybe eye tracking will be needed in future generations.
But to use as extended monitor is not ideal yet and I preferred to return since was not using.
