MQ3 is fun & immersive, couple issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the MQ3 as a gift and I've had a lot of fun playing STRAYLIGHT and Beat Saber. These games have great music and with the headset on, they are very immersive. I also tried Asura's Wrath II but when it came time to move my character it made me a little motion sick, which the other games above never did. I also found the very first game that popped up and had cute little alien fuzz balls invading an AR version of my living room was a lot of fun for me and my kid. On the improvements side:
We got the docking station, but it didn't come with an actual wall adapter and the recommended one is 45W rather than the 18W one that comes with the headset. That was dissapointing to have a fairly pricing docking station not come with what was necessary to actually use it well.
Secondly, the casting to TV functionality needs to be smoothed out more. I couldn't get it running through my Samsung without showing my PC's screen and then there was some significant lagging. This is really important to make VR more than a solo experience. Having others see and hear what the player is experience is really important. Otherwise, it's awkward for everyone else in the room and they have to find something else to do. Then if I'm the player, now I've got a nagging feeling I'm missing out on what everyone else is doing while I play.
Third, the setup process is a little cumbersome. That there's the system setup and the app and creating a new account and then more setup to do casting, it takes a long time to get onboarded.

Great well rounded product for entire family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this to a 7 family snowboard trip and it was a HIT! Kids and adults a like, everyone loved it. We played every night. An extra battery or 2 and an aftermarket headstrap is a must but I would highly recommend to anyone interested.

Meta Quest 3, just ok.

Great device, expensive add-ons required

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's unfortnate that DLCs are deliberately not supported across accounts/devices, and the amount of add-ons I've had to purchase to make the device comfortable and to support reasonable battery life is rediculous.
