[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teen absolutely loves their Meta Quest 3 device. It's truly immersive and so realistic you get chills down your spine! An opening in from surely help to navigate environment without walking into furniture. We love it so much we actually got the second one :)!

Driving the VR revolution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a fantastic product! Love the quality of the games and for this older player the addition exercise it injects into my daily life.
Tips for new buyers:
You need an enhanced head strap — the base head strap is less than comfortable.
You need an extended battery — the enhanced head strap has one — do it.
You need straps for your controllers so you don’t accidentally throw the controller while immersed in gaming

A Strong Evolution of the Quest Series

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it's a great headset, the best that I currently own. The new lenses eliminate the need to search around for the "sweet spot" as the whole thing feels like a sweet spot.
The new passthrough is great - it's far from perfect, as there is some weird warping when you look at things close to the headset (like if checking a notification on your phone)... but you *can* check notifications on your phone. Putting it on and starting in passthrough mode is a huge quality of life improvement over my older headsets, as it lets me get the controllers and situation myself in the room without having to stumble around or peak through the tiny nose gap to figure out where I am.
The headstrap is a shame. It's quite uncomfortable and, if you're going to buy this headset, I think a replacement rigid headstrap is a mandatory purchase (not the official one, as it's overpriced and the battery version has some reported charging issues). Fortunately, this can be changed out for a good headstrap, but that adds to the total cost of the experience.
The power draw & therefore battery life isn't as good as I'd've hoped. The headset by itself gets me about an hour of playtime. I have upgraded my headstrap to one that has a 6400 mAh battery, which extends the headset's battery life past my own endurance (after a ~3 hour session, the headstrap battery was almost fully depleted but the headset itself was still fully charged).
Overall, it's a solid headset. It's become my new daily headset and is a significant upgrade over the Quest 2 in every way (except for the battery life). It doesn't seem to me to be a revolutionary change over the Quest 2, but it is a solid evolutionary change and provides a great VR experience.
