Quick and easy VR/AR/MR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Meta VR device coming from an original HTC Vive. I like the freedom of not having to have base stations on the wall. Overall comfort and fit are relatively similar, I splurged on the extended battery pack which made it even more comfy. My biggest complaint is the extended battery only added about 30-45 mintues of total play time, it definitely didn't double it. If the extended battery is left plugged into the headset it will constantly drop power even when the device is powered off and at full charge. The second is that I'm in a VERY VERY well lit room, but constantly recieve popup messages that I might be in an area where lighting is too low. I LED shop lights to make the room as bright as possible but messages persist despite the room being uncomfortably bright. I purchased largely for the Piano Vision App which has been helpful and really enjoy pushing the boundaries of AR/MR to help with learning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The amount of Value and convenience you get from the Quest makes it definitely worth the price. The AR/VR is amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a fairly fun product to use and I was surprised at the technology being so good. However I do not think it's worth the high price tag for what it's capable of, so I returned it.

My first experience with the Meta Quest 3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first experience with the Meta Quest 3 was technically fascinating. The setup was straightforward, and the ergonomic design made it immediately comfortable. The high-resolution display brought games like "Echo VR" to life with stunning clarity, while the smooth refresh rate enhanced the gameplay in fast-paced titles like "Beat Saber."
The 6DoF tracking system was impressively accurate, making actions in Superhot VR feel incredibly realistic. Spatial audio added depth to experiences, particularly in puzzle games like The Room VR: A Dark Matter, where sound cues were integral to gameplay.
The Quest 3's extensive content library, from games to social VR platforms like "VRChat," provided a broad range of experiences. Battery life was sufficient for several hours, though intensive use demanded strategic charging. Overall, the Meta Quest 3 offered a compelling glimpse into advanced VR technology, combining immersive visuals, precise tracking, and 3D audio for a deeply engaging experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has proven to be such a novel and unique way to experience exercise and gaming in a way I have never seen before. I love the game selection, and there are plenty of titles that keep me moving and are exciting to play - you don't need a straight up exercise app to get a sweat going. Its refreshing to play sports with my family and friends again now that we are all at a point in our lives where our free time and distance from each other is few and far between.

COOL TECH

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pretty floored by the experience. It's not quite Minority Report or Iron Man level but it's a pretty good step in that direction. It gets a little uncomfortable after wearing it for awhile but the experience is incredibly immersive. I use a wheelchair and I was afraid I was going to fall off a cliff in the game despite knowing that I was playing it in a room with 4 walls. It's ridiculously expensive and extremely difficult to manage multiple users on the device, but it's really cool. I don't see myself using my computer for work with it or playing games on it all the time, but my son plays Gorilla Tag every day until the battery dies (half hour or so).
