[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite part about this model compared to 2nd edition would have to be the graphics. Gorilla tag is a lot more fun on 3 vs 2. The headset is also more comfortable with the 3 vs 2.

The only thing that would make this better is a longer battery life. We share this headset between two people. And so the battery can die out while the second person is playing.
Getting a second profile set-up took a few more tries than it should have to connect my meta profile to the meta quest. But once it was connected, I appreciate that the Meta Quest double checks who is playing so it saves the correct progress with games and activities.

First VR- I'm hooked!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about how immersive a VR headset could really be until I bought this Quest 3. I am definitely hooked. I have been gaming and building my own PCs since the early '90s so not a newbie to this stuff. Sports like golf, tennis and bowling have amazing physics. Gaming has gone to a whole new level with actually being in the game! Playing Sniper Elite I find myself laying on the floor for a proper prone shot or crouched down, hiding behind objects. Really puts you in the game. VR chat & VR worlds.... WOW!!! I can't get enough and utilize the Quest 3 daily for exercise, gaming, chatting or all 3. Calorie tracking, web browsing, and so much more. Exploring the VR world through free videos or apps in the Meta store is equally amazing. It is also a joy to be able to connect with my 14-year-old nephew and play games with him and teach the youngster a thing or two. He really gets a kick out of being able to play with his uncle and was surprised at how adept his uncle is at gaming. The mixed reality is not only very cool but practical in many ways. Boxing, tennis, and gaming is much safer being able to see my surroundings (on apps that allow mixed reality) and fighting zombies that are breaking down my door and crawling through my windows is so cool to see. Creating artwork and projects right in my own living room will never get old! You can transform your entire environment with apps and your creativity is endless. So easy for the initial set up I was immersed in the VR world within minutes. I wear glasses and there is plenty of room in the headset for my glasses. I did buy the Zenni lenses and that just raised it to a whole new level of comfort and playability. If you have been on the fence about making this purchase, so was I. Bite the bullet and do it, you won't regret it! I know I haven't and am already building a nice little library of games and apps. Best purchase I have made for myself in a long, long time!
