It's awesome but has an issue

I gave it 4 stars because it's an amazing VR Headset, however it had a major audio issue, and I'm not the only give me experiencing it too. My audio in all games was muffled and low quality, which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Other than that issue the headsets quality is amazing and highly recommend this to all VR gamers!

Mesmerizing gameplay

After setting up the quest 3,which was a breeze to do you seem to get a mesmerizing feeling. Everything comes to life and your heart starts to pound as you get lost in gameplay. You can fly an airplane and really feel as if you were 20,000 feet above the world you live in or stay on the ground to dodge,fight your way through some of the most realistic worlds and levels. Great for the whole family,and it's sometimes funny to watch others play.

Of everything I have done with this headset, I have found it is way better than the quest 2. Its so much clearer and feels better to wear as it's not as heavy. 10/10 would recommend.

Big improvements, smaller equipment

I was very excited to get the Q3. I'm more of a casual user, not really into games, but I like to watch movies and videos a lot. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was how much smaller the Q3 is than its predecessors. The second thing I was pleased with was the weight. The Q3 is much lighter than the previous versions of the Quest; The initial fit on the head was much better than the old Quests. I bought aftermarket head straps for both of the previous versions. So far, I have no plans to bother with it for the Q3. I was blown away by the full-color pass-through view. Initial usage was pleasant and it was obvious the software was improved over previous versions. I really have only one complaint about the new Q3, and that is the heat generated by the unit on the front of the headset where the sensors/cameras are. Overall, it's a five out of five for me, very happy with my purchase.

Mixed bag of success and failure

First off, this is a solid product. The graphics are fine, the interface is easy, not much has changed from the Quest 2. But....the head strap is terrible. A skull crusher. The battery life is about an hour which is clearly insufficient. The lenses fog quickly during a workout...and take note, it is winter while I write this review. Summer is coming and more lense fog I am confident. The library of games from Quest 2 works flawlessly with the new Quest 3.

Low quality pass-through

The quality of the pass-through wasn't nearly as good as I had expected based on the Meta Quest 3 advertisements. The pass-through is practically useless due to the flip-phone camera quality.
