Just purchased the meta quest3. Very happy with the comfort of the unit. I find the quality to be good and enjoy the gaming however I do wish the battery power would last longer even though there’s some things that can be done about that. Over all I recommend it and can’t wait to see what new games come out in the future

I just want the machine to last longer. i shouldn't have to buy a 120 usd accessory just to play 4 hours. games are fun tho and everything comes in pretty clear.

So, I'll start of by saying I had the original Oculus Rift and the PSVR1. Last year I picked up the PSVR2 and recently the Quest 3. The Quest 3 does a superb job in combining great fit and comfortability along with the stand alone aspect that you cannot get with other headsets. The biggest factor that pushed me to buy ( I already have a the PSVR2) was the fact that I could WIRELESSLY connect it to my PC. This is an absolute game changer for me. I have the portability of the native quest games as well as AAA PC VR games, Fallout 4, Skyrim, Half Life Alyx... the flexibility absolutely sold me on getting it and my PCVR2 just stares at me with contempt....

It’s good but overpriced

It’s been a few weeks now, got the quest 3 with the largest storage for our son for Christmas. He has allot of fun with it, but the head strap is the weak spot here. For 700$ you should get the elite strap with it, it shouldn’t be a 80$ add on. Games on it are hit or miss, I bought a bunch of roller coasters and they are seriously lacking.. I feel like the oculus you put your phone in back in the Samsung s8+ days were better then these unfortunately, but the free boxing game I downloaded for him and gorilla tag, another free one , have been two of his favorites. It’s nice, good quality with some nice features and nice to look at. not too terrible to set up, and the hand controls are comfortable. The 2 hour battery life is disappointing sometimes but he doesn’t play more than 15-30 min at a time before the strap bothers him and he takes a break. I have the same issue when I use it but it isn’t bad when the 3 of us alternate. Not sure how I feel about the subscription yet, as if you don’t feel like paying for the monthly fee anymore you lose access to all the games you downloaded while having it. So what’s the point in downloading them if you can’t keep them? Idk. It needs work but it has come a long way. Just can’t say I would spring for the 700$ option next time and feel like they really dropped the ball with the head strap. Like everything else is nice 4-5 ⭐️ but the head strap is a 3 on a good day? Hopefully they get their act together and they could have a home run product. If the elite strap was included on the 512gb storage quest 3 then it would be worth it. As it is, it’s a bit of a let down.

I am amazed by the picture quality. It’s so clear. The speaker is fantastic when not using headphones; it’s clear sound but doesn’t overpower the room to bother others. The games are super fun or if you want to chill, there are plenty relaxing or educational apps. I’m very happy I got it.
