I bought this to see what computers can now do. I spent more than 40 years working with them. All I can say is I was very impressed. Watching my grandsons. The software is amazing.

Bought for son. He's getting a lot of use out of it. Wish the streaming to TV or phone worked better / more reliability so we could watch what he is playing.

I truly enjoy the quest 3.
However, I truly considered returning it due to its uncomfortableness and short battery life!
Which I don’t think is an option, I hate the fact that it’s a great game, but you would have to order additional equipment in order to accomplish comfort! This is too costly to have this as a problem for the company! Hopefully my comfort strap and battery pack makes this game worth it…

I've had the MQ3 for a few weeks and I'm blown away. The games have real life training applications for LE and Military personnel. The graphics are amazing!

Meta Quest has been a very unique experience very easy to set up my friend helped me and showed me how to do it other than that I’ve had a blast with it the programming that the realism of it going to a concert going to an NBA game all freaking so freaking wonderful I love it

Battery life did not meet expectations

Overall, this is a solid VR headset. Adding accounts was very painful (it'll get stuck if you move faster than the systems involved expect you to, so work through the process slowly). I really like that the family can share apps, though we have a family of 5 and can only add 3 guest accounts, leaving one of us out. We could buy a second headset to avoid sharing accounts, but we probably won't because of the battery life. We have two Quest 2 units and never really had a problem with battery life. I don't have any numbers to compare the two, but "it's dead already?" is a frequent question in the house when talking about our Quest 3.

Disappointing

I expected more of a “wow” factor. The reality (or virtual reality) is “meh.” The games are to blame. The ones I’ve tried — some of the most popular — are clunky at best. The controls aren’t intuitive. I spend an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out how to play the game. Fruit Ninja is among the worst. I just want to slice fruit! But it ain’t that easy to figure out how to do that. My Meta Quest 3 sits unused most of the time. It’s not fun or easy to use.
