Controller issues

Love the graphics and much-improved sound quality, but we continue to have issues with the controllers. We purchased two of these to use almost exclusively with the Supernatural fitness app, and the controllers are constantly lost when using the app. We returned the worst of the two and received a new one, but it has the same problem. We wish we had waited to upgrade from the Q2 until the bugs were worked out of this one. We also wonder if the front camera placement is the problem since it perhaps is limiting the peripheral vision of the controllers during a workout.

Definite recommend purchasing. It's not night and day over oculus 2 but it's enough overall experience to get one. Lighter, clearer and sound improvements just to name a few.

Seemed Great At First

Purchased the Quest 3 days after its release date. It was my first experience with any VR headset. At first everything seemed great. Then I tried on a coworkers Quest 3 and the passthrough was SIGNIFICANTLY better clarity. I have about 15 hours on the unit at this point. Everything seems like it is getting more glitchy. Tonight I was not able to bring up the main Meta menu to exit out of a game; had to just shut the unit off. I make sure to keep the unit charged, updated, and in the box out of sun/dust when not in use. At this rate of decreased performance; I feel like it will not be useful for much in another month.

Easy to learn

It's almost like operating a p c window screen but in virtual. I love that I found a number of training videos to guide me through how to operate the programs. My favorites are supernatural and fit x r. I primarily use it for strong heavy workouts. But we've also been using national geographic to tour the world.

Worth the upgrade

Very quick setup, excellent comfort, easily pulled all my games over from the Quest 2. Impressive visual quality, it really feels like a leap in technology. Only bad things is controller tracking sometimes misses when it goes behind my back, but this is a limitation of this style of tracking. Still well worth the upgrade to me and the entire experience is very smooth.
