So much better

I loved the Quest 2. But when I received the Quest 3, I was so happy. Setup was extremely simple. Not sure why people have issues. I also bought the strap with the battery and that makes it so well balanced that I can wear it until the batter goes dead. The graphics are so clear with the pancake lenses. The sound is loud. I used to use earbuds with my 2, but don't need them for the 3. Can't wait for more AR programs to be released. I also bought the charging dock. Very sleek and easy to use. Just love the Quest 3 . Thank you Meta for a great product.

I am so beyond happy with my Q3!! It’s such a huge upgrade from the Q2. The graphics are so much better, then lenses are perfect, the mixed reality is so awesome, I literally couldn’t be happier. The stock strap is never good but using a different strap makes a world of difference. I use my Q3 everyday , I tried using my Q2 but after using the Q3 I can never go back to my Q2. Thank you Meta for everything , VR makes me so happy 😁

I think they made the heads trap extremely crappy on purpose to keep production prices down and profits high. Plan on adding upgrade price of the head strap in your budget. It is still worth upgrading from Quest 2 or as a new headset. The Quest 3 is much better visually and the hand controllers are more accurate and a lot lighter.

I’ve had my Quest 3 about two months and I love it! It was easy to setup and the improvements in clarity and overall performance are startling. I swapped out the head strap and significantly improved the comfort. Looking forward to more apps/games designed specifically for the 3.

Quest 3 much better than expected

All I can say is the new Quest 3 is amazing. The passthough is so much nicer than on the Quest 2 and the mixed reality has really brought VR full circle. It is so nice playing games while still seeing you surrounding so you don't have to worry so much about where you are at in the room. You can see where you're at in the room. And so much more comfortable than the Quest 2, not front heavy like it was. It feels so much more balanced. I do wish they gave at least a decent headstrap for the money. First upgrade you should make is for a 3rd party battery headstrap. The Quest 3 does eat the battery, especially in MR mode so it is a necessity IMO. Also, I think it's not cool they charge so much more for higher storage capacity, but I think they got this idea from Apple. All in all though, it is awesome and well worth the upgrade from the Quest 2.

I was very pleased to get my quest 3 but there’s just 1 problem. On the left eye of the quest 3 there’s a dead pixel or something because it’s just a tiny black spot. I’ve cleaned the lenses and everything but yet there’s still a black spot. It’s only noticeable with games with really light colors.

Quest 3 makes VR easy. Getting into VR, setting up your boundary, it is all fast and easy. It is a great work out device, as well as a great unwinding device, whether you like to unwind by playing some action games, mystery puzzle games, or meditate to serene music, the Quest 3 has it all.
