Definite step up from the Quest 2

I bought the Quest 2 in the fall of 2021 and used it pretty heavily. I loved it and was amazed at the world of VR that it opened up to me. When I tried my new Quest 3 for the first time, it was like getting VR for the first time all over again. So much better and so much more reality in virtual reality! I love the pass through and the quality of the image. I bought the 512Gb version because my assumption is that new games that leverage the upgraded features and mixed reality are going to be hogs. From the new releases I’ve seen so far that seems like a wise move. Anyway, my only complaint with the quest 3 is battery life which is about 25% poorer that the 2. Also beware of the third party battery packs right now. They can’t keep up.

Purchased every oculus/meta headset since released and great to see both the technology and the comfort advance with each model. The Quest 3 improves on every aspect and the only downside is the higher price.

the headset it very uncomfortable after even 5 minutes. coming from a quest 1 the quest 1 had way better comfortably

Overall I like and enjoy using the Meta 3. It is very easy to setup, i love the pass-through, just need mire MR games, and the controllers are wonderful. Areas to be improved, battery life, and always getting messages about the room is too dark, even though I have lights on.

I am enjoying Meta 3 after trying out I can’t use Meta 2 feels off. Definitely worth the money spent. My 2 sons have not took a day off. They are enjoying big time!
