Oculus 3 is everything the Oculus 2 should have been but did not have the technology. It's a great little headset. Little pricey but good Love it! Don't like the head strap

I've been a gamer since atari/clecovision,ps1,Sega master system and Xbox .quest3 is the only one to actually blow my mind and the endless opportunity this Machine has to offer.to me weather it's a q2 or q3 you are getting great entertainment

This is my third "Oculus" and of course it is the best. The increased resolution and AR is a big advance and it makes a number of apps shine. Comfort is not as big an improvement as I would have hoped for since facial discomfort was and still is a significant problem - - e.g. Given the big price increase, Meta should have provided a far more comfortable head strap. Also, games like Puzzle Places, while they look better, lost all progress info from the 2 to the 3. No info provided on how to transfer that info over.

As far as the headset itself goes, it's amazing, love the mix reality games a lot. So hope more games become AAA with that feature. As far as the strap goes still awful, had to get a third party one for comfort. The battery life does die pretty quickly but can get some gaming in regardless. Also as far as streaming goes on headset, needs to be easier to be able to stream games directly from headset to Twitch, without having to rely on the mobile Twitch app. Also still waiting on the Facebook live feature to work on the Camera share and maybe add a Instagram Live also and Youtube Live from headset. Other than that though, again love the headset, bought the 500gb version and with all the new games coming out, am loving the memory for it. Would also be awesome to see Meta ban together with companies to make VR version of games like Final Fantasy XI/XIV or Disney games like Dreamlight Valley or other games in general. Can't wait to see what other features you all release on the headset.

The Quest 3 is a significant improvement over the Quest 2 (and, amazingly, the Quest Pro in several aspects) and definitely brings VR and AR closer to being a maintenance thing.
The improved resolution and processing power make the creation of even more impressive games possible and we are starting to see the results of that.
AR is nice and when used right is a powerful tool but this is definitely one of the biggest areas for improvements. A few things that would make it better: Automatic mapping of furniture/objects, using depth information for deciding if something should be draw in front of it behind a real life object and reducing image warping.

I had the quest 2 and showed it to a lot of friends and family, and a few of them picked one up. The quest 3 is a nice upgrade from the quest 2 and I'm looking forward to showing this off to friends and family.
