So much potential

The video (picture) quality is amazing. I love watching movies on this and wish there was a way to download movies and shows onto the Quest 3 just like I can on my iPad and iPhone. The embedded YouTube and Netflix apps do NOT have this essential functionality

New Quest 3 delivers!

I have had many VR devices in the past. From using my samsung devices with Gear VR, Oculus Rift, Quest 1 and 2, I have been heavily invested in VR. The Quest 3 has been my favorite so far. The visual quality is incredible with the only thing that would make it even better would be to have OLED screen. Yet I understand that would most likely add too much cost to the unit. Can not wait to see how MR evolves.

Meta Quest 3 needs a good battery

I entered the realm of the mixed reality with this product. Overall it’s fun and a little disappointing at the same time. I preordered my headset along with charging station,which works great for me, hand straps and the elite pro strap with battery. I never got my strap and was refunded without my consent. Turns out the battery on the strap apparently from online reviews is rubbish so I guess I dodged a bullet but that just means I have to wear the Iron Maiden strap that came with it, and play only lasts an hour and a half if I’m lucky with no battery backup. The games so far are so so at best and expensive. When I do buy a game it takes me a few days to get em to download since it’s so glitchy, send reports all the time. I hope with some updates the bugs are worked out, and a aftermarket head strap becomes available with decent batteries but for now I’m just left wondering if I made the right choice. It is an amazing product overall but the cons tend to overshadow the pros more often than not.

Nice upgrade from Quest 2

For my purposes, the Quest 3 equaled or bettered my expectations. The color pass-through is great and the resolution with my flight sims is fantastic. The battery life isn't great, but there are options.

The new setup of room spaces and boundaries is awesome! The passthrough is awesome. The tracking and performance is awesome. The VR only PC is sharper than my HP Reverb G2. This is awesome at this price on everyday I love it so much. Needs to have better support in apps of HDCP hi def video streaming. Netflix is still SD. Most payed movies on Youtube are SD only while my HD content is 1080p. Prime video gets it right. Their payed movies are at least 1080P.

Good passthrough!

AR passthrough is very crisp, and detailed enough to see my phone! I would have liked just a little bit more res so that computer use feels 1:1, but this is still very good!
Controllers dont lag and arent heavy like the pro.
I would have liked eye/face tracking as well but im all set with this!

Love it, Ears touch strap

I love this thing, upgrading from the CV1 its leaps ahead of what I've used for years. My wife has some pain when using the headset in the ears, but besides that it's a lot of fun and extremely well crafted technology.
