Meta Quest 3 is a welcome upgrade from the Meta Quest 2 in EVERY way. Lighter, more comfortable, better FOV, better graphics, better controllers, better passthrough. Well worth the money. Passthrough technology in general needs a little more time to become fully immersive but this is a giant step forward.

Meta has so much potential
For educational purposes welding make a mistake and no problem,mechanics, heavey equipment, driving they make too much useless games i mainly use to watch movies now theater is great

My VR Fishing game does not work with the new mask, and I keep seeing blue streaks in the images while using Horizons. But the mask itself is pretty good. The camera ages are much clearer than the prior ones, and I love playing games with miltireality. It makes it easier for me to use the mask in smaller spaces. I think I'm going to buy the glasses too since this mask worked out really well. It's definitely worth the price. Can't wait to see what's comes next for VR.

I love the new lenses, they are the best thing along with the fact that it’s SO MUCH SLIMMER! Great headset and a necessary upgrade from the quest 2!

Quest3 strobing light issue

I have my quest 3 but have fallen back to using my quest 2 more for two reasons. The first reason is many times people cannot hear me and I can’t find a way to make the microphone work so I switch to quest2. The other reason which is highly annoying is in Horizon Worlds specifically I get strobing flashes of light everywhere I look. It’s very distracting and could most likely be seizure inducing for some people. Until that issue is resolved I don’t think I’ll use my quest 3 and most likely will be returning it as Horizon Worlds is my main app. I am a builder and developer professionally on the platform as a 2P creator so I am often in that app.

Causes headaches

My son absolutely loves his new Meta Quest 3. But, even though he only uses it for a short time a few days a week, it causes him to have severe headaches. I hope this is an experience that is unique to him and it's not happening to all the users. It really is a cool device.
