Many Issues

Intermittent black screen when gaming. As of past few weeks, monitor began having a small buzzing sound (which to be fair goes away after a bit, but is concerning). Hardware Calibration still broken due to lack of spectral profiles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The display looks very nice 95% of the time, but occasionally when running at higher frame rates the screen will occasionally go black for a few seconds. Also, for a brand new display, the lack of usb-c connectivity and only 1 display port is a downside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I been waiting months for this monitor to use with my PS5 and it was definitely worth the wait. The color and 120hz on it makes a huge difference from using my LG 55” TV. Image is very sharp and HDR is amazing. In fact I ordered two. One for my brother’s computer to go with his RTX 3090. Highly recommend this model. One downside is I also use it as a 2nd display for my iMac and there’s no software to customize the led lights on the back. I’m only able to use the default led light choices.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this monitor. Coming from a reliable but old 144hz 27" FullHD monitor, it's a massive upgrade.
Took a while to navigate the clunky Windows 10 HDR settings and adjust brightness, but once I did it looked amazing.
The fan is mostly quiet, but I can still hear it faintly in a silent room. And the light sync software tends to cause Windows to hang momentarily when returning from sleep, so I've had to disable the LG software config tools to keep that from happening.
Other than those small issues, it's an incredible monitor. Performs incredibly well paired with a 6800XT and Xbox Series X.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Quality

PS5 users, be aware of the following!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am giving this monitor 5 stars because it delivers very well. Works great for PC and console gaming. The specs speak for themselves. The RGB lighting on the back of the monitor is a nice feature to have but I do not really care much for it.
The cherry on top is obvious the HDMI 2.1 feature, at least in my opinion.
However, for all PS5 users such as myself, please note that PS5 currently DOES NOT support VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). Meaning, that you will not get 4K 120Hz at the moment although this is an HDMI 2.1 monitor. You will get 120Hz but at 1080P. You can see in the image that I am still getting 4K at 60Hz after connecting my PS5 to this monitor.
This is frustrating on Sony's part because the Xbox Series X does support VRR! So 4K 120Hz will work on this monitor if you have an Xbox Series X, you can see in the image. Hopefully Sony releases the VRR update to the PS5 soon to get the full experience on this monitor!
Regarding PC gaming, I have a 2070 super and it is struggling a bit to stay just over 100 FPS at 4K. I do not mind it as I don't really game that much on PC but I would recommend to go with a new 30 series GPU (if you can find one) to have the best experience on this monitor for PC gaming.
In all, you will not regret getting this monitor. I was lucky enough to even get one. Totally recommend it!
Pros: ease of use, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking for a monitor that was 4k hdr, and HDMI 2.1. This pretty much hit all my boxes. Works well with ps5 and my rtx 3000 series pc. Only hdr600, however it's still pretty bright. Definitely recommend to anyone in the market for a new monitor that is 4k hdr and has HDMI 2.1. Also has a bit of extra rgb in the back that can add to your setup depending on how you set it.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality

Random black screen

I purchased this monitor back in August. Everything was fine for a few months. All of the sudden I started getting random black screens while using the monitor in 144hz via DP. Even know as I write this it has cut out a few times. Totally unacceptable for a monitor that cost this much.

Bad power failure

Used it for about an hour and a half. Turned it off to do something else. Came back later in the day and it would not power back on. Worked and looked great while operational but not when you can’t even turn the thing back on.
