[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 27gp950 is a fantastic monitor the 4k 120hz display is very beautiful and crisp and competitive gaming on it is super fast the only issue i face is the color vibrancy out of box is very poor but after tuning the monitor is perfect

Color accuracy - is SDR colors look great, and bright
Accurate refresh rate - running at 120hz nets me a 3ms response time, without having to overdrive and create artifacts.

The bad:
HDR - seems like it only has 7 or 8 local dimming zones, creates a huge halo in dark scenes.
HDR looks washed out/desaturated
Freesync/Gsync - my modual isn't working right, making the screen go blank for a second, then recover. (will update after an rma)

I had no issues using the LG calibration tool they offer to make sure my colors were as accurate as possible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great monitor when it works. Been having issues with it for a while though. It turns off randomly, and was giving a buzzing noise occasionally. It’s currently send in for repairs. So hoping all the issues will be fixed. I have all LG monitors, and this is the most expensive one I have, and it’s the only monitor I’ve ever had issues with. Hoping for a working monitor when I get it back.

It’s amazing that this monster can overclock up to 160 hz in 4K, but HDR is terrible and makes a darker contrast. It’s also extremely overpriced.
