Monitor has issues

The video panel is very nice, pretty much what one would expect from LG. However, there seems to be a couple issues. - I use external speakers connected to the monitor. So when the monitor is connected via USB-C to a laptop, I can clearly hear some intermittent fizzing noise from the speakers, it's very similar to what sparklers would make, but much softer. Tested with XPS 15 and XPS 13, same result, the noise disappears when XPS 15 is charged using it's own power adapter. - Cable management is not optimal. The biggest problem is that the cables are routed up to the top of the support column which limits the available length of the USB-C cable. So if you place your laptop on the left, there will be no not enough cable to reach the laptops USB-C port on it's left side (as in XPS 15)
All in all, I think it might make more sense to buy 32UB650-B, and have more options to configure the monitor setup with a third-party monitor arm and a USB-C hub.
I would recommend this to a friend!

USB port not working!

I bought this and was very excited to set it up. To my disappointment write out of the box the both my USB port are not working. I have not had the chance to try out the usb-c port yet. I was very disappointed as I chose this more expensive over the Dell Ultra Sharp monitor. Not too happy as I now have to pack it and take it back to Best Buy. As I am petite and the monitor with the packaging is fairly heavy I am not looking forward to returning this but I do not have any other choice! The only thing I like about it is the stand as it free up my desk space.
