I am a professional hunter. I take over 1200 hunters a year through our company Texas Hunt Lodge. I use My walkers 7 days a week. I had both models before these. These are a superior model. Holds up to every day use! They connect to the phone easily.

Exactly what I needed as a machinist! I always missed when I had the Silencer version of earbuds because I could go to lunch 500 feet away from my machine and hear if I was chattering or the tool broke and Finally I can do it again! this set is amazing because I can still talk to people even if the machine is hogging through steel making a loud ruckus and hear them clearly, when they have to say "WHAT" because they cant hear with the earplugs used. Finally all I have to do from listening to the machine for any program mess-ups to listening to a coworker or boss is go from high frequency mode to clear voice mode and then its solved. At most settings its easy to hear voices but its clearer on the right ones. These are soo good I almost didn't say, YES these protect your ears Exactly how they say it will.

Not great for Duck Callers

A couple of real challenges. I am a waterfowl hunter, and finding hearing protection that allows you to hear birds while still protecting your ears continues to be problematic. The disrupters solve that problem and don't. Hearing birds is great, and shooting out is great. HOWEVER, 1) every time I blow a duck call, the hearing protection kicks in, and you can hear the tone of your call. 2) When you blow a speck call (mine is loud), they go into a really high ringing sound, like a microphone feedback problem.
3) When you put them in at shoot time, they automatically connect to your music on your phone. Trying to listen to your blind partner call and shoot ducks while Luke Combs is yelling in your ear is a little awkward. Then you've got to dig in your blind bag and pull out your phone—less than ideal.
4) I dropped my recharge case in the water on hunt 4. They're done.

Comfortable, effective hearing protection

I finally went shooting with my new Disrupter ear buds, and could not have been happier with the results. They are comfortable and completely protected my ears from 100 rounds from my 9MM pistol (and nearby shooters with rifles). I thought that you needed to get custom molded in-ear hearing protection to get this level of comfort, but not with the Disrupter. It was easy to set up and control the Disrupter from my Android phone using the Walkers app.

Problems after a dozen uses in 6 months.

I purchased these at the end of Oct 2024. I used them for deer season and this past spring turkey season. They worked fine, so I started using them while cutting the grass on my tracker. I've had them for 6 months and all of a sudden the left earbud wouldn't connect to the contact points in the charging case. They stayed on and drained the charge. Now the right one is starting to do the same. About to see how great the warranty is on these. I'll be back with an update soon

I have only used them once so far but they seem to work great. The noise was cancelled out great. And the nice thing is you don’t need to have to carry your phone they work with out the app, just fine.

I bought these disrupters Nov 2023. My disrupters work well, but there were times when one ear bud would not work. Not sure how to solve the problem. Even with that issue I will give the product a 4 out of 5.

Ive had the silencer BT 2.0 and changed it to an axil xcor. seeing the disrupter, i thought that it would be an improvement on the xcor. i tried with two planks banging and my really loud truck horn and it worked well. so i went to the range today and found these as my pros and cons vs the axil xcor
pro:
case has a loop and would be very useful to attach to bag key holders
app is good with the equalizer and intuitive controls
music sound is good
phone audio is good
there is noise reduction albeit a different tone
connects to bluetooth easily
con:
a bit heavier than my axil xcor
gunshot sound is higher pitch compared to my axil
case is bigger than axil
it felt like the foam tips would not be too snug (medium tips used) and i was concerned they may fall out as the foam expands (i used the small, but they were loose on me)
i felt that i was more comfortable with the axil when shooting (although the phone audio of the axil is really low and bad)
