Total failure problems with SA510 line.

I have had one totally failed drive, and 3 slowly failing drives. Apparently this is a common problem with the SA510 product line. My failed drive was on a lightly used PC. After a month or so of non-use, it wouldn't boot from the drive. My sisters laptop used daily, started to fail at the same time, but we cloned the disk in time. She uses it extensively for work.
My personal laptop is slow with SSD response speeds sometimes above 12 seconds, though this is possibly my fault from experiments I was running.
My final PC I started using again just today is showing multiple BSODs. I can't be sure they're drive failures yet. But I never had problems before.
Some on the forum claim the critical firmware update WD released doesn't work.
I hope they figure this out soon. WD usually makes great stuff.
