Amazing photos

Great camera with really nice features. The photos are absolutely amazing and the video mode as well. It feels solid and expensive. As you know Canon Has been around for a very long time and I have owned and used numerous of their products, and I've always been happy with it. So if you buy a Canon product - whatever it might be I am positive that you will like it and for that matter enjoy it just as much as I do. The eos rebel t2i is also another great camera.
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use

Great digital SLR

Reminds me of my Canon T90 in digital form. Like the grip/balance and good support network.. Have a couple Canon digitals 540 & G10 but just Love SLR so now happy to replace my Canon T90 which I have loved for years. Long awaited.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Simple controls/menu

I love this camera! I use this camera to take family portraits, sports pictures, wildlife, landscapes, and architecture. I mainly use the av or tv settings and with a few adjustments I can capture almost any picture. I purchased my 60D with the 18-135mm lens kit. This lens is good for getting a variety of pictures.
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Superior build quality, easy to use, handsome

fast, simple, HD Video, 18MP sensor CMOS, very user friendly, easy to use , this camera is a perfect upgrade from 50D, burst speed 5,3fps pretty fast enough to advanced amateur.. good choice..

Noise issues

Love the camers!... but experienced extensive noise in raw images opened in Photoshop CS5. Talked to Canon rep and he advised opening in Digital Photo Professional as Photoshop has software which may increase noise levels when opening a Canon CR2 file. Worked much better! Canon tech support is really good! Thanks!!!!

quality of images

when i use this canon 60d camera to take pics by using L imgage quality. the outcome of the pic shows somehow over bright and blur. for a semi professional camera, it should not has this problem.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use

Missing Important Feature

I have been anxiously waiting for the next upgrade to the EOS 50D. When I saw the new 60D with 18 megapixels plus video, it sounded great. The camera body is lighter and feels cheaper than the 50D. But the most important feature that I use 99.9% of the time has been eliminated. That is the A-DEP mode. It has been on all previous models and has become a vital focusing aid for landscape scenes. I am very disappointed that Canon chose to drop it. Come on Canon, include it back on the 70D!
Pros: excellent image quality, Bright LCD
Cons: Missing features/settings, Poor build quality

this is my first dslr, and i must say that i am in love with the canon 60d ! great pic's ! gorgeous video ! i'm in love with this camera its a must have if you are looking for a great camera this is it : 0 )
