I was so excited about your new mop. The fact that it didn't require batteries and I could use my own solutions. I encountered a couple of problems. First, the mop head popped off while mopping. A friend with a drill press helped me out drilling through the handle and mop head and I added a screw. Worked great. Second problem, the handle broke just above the solution holder. Perhaps a metal collar there would increase strength. Your mop is a great idea. So close to ideal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LOVE it!

I am 6'0" and have resigned myself to the fact that mops are short for me, so bending over to mop has been a way of life. And I have a 3 1/2 year old and 1 1/2 year old who stir up quite a mess in the kitchen on a daily basis.
I'd gone to the store to purchase another brand similar to this one, but on seeing the Rubbermaid mop, I was intrigued. Pulling it off the shelf to find the handle hits me under my ribs, I was ecstatic. I brought it home and couldn't even finish mopping my floor because my kids wanted to do it! My 3 1/2 year old mopped all the floors in our house! It sprays enough (although a tad high-I just tilt it down a bit to spray), I can put in whatever solution I want, and I love that the pad it washable. I love mopping with this!

OMG! This is the best product to hit the market in a long time! Way to go, Rubbermaid! The ease of this mop, the size of the pad makes me want to clean the floors! Unlike other systems with "paper" pads, the microfiber pad even gets in the grout of the tiled areas of my home without tearing or shredding the pad! I love this product--and if you ever need a spokeswoman, call me!

Great Spray Mop

Many years ago when the wet pad mops came out we bought one. The handle would bend and the mop cleaner left this awful residue on our floors. We have hardwoods & tile throughout our house. My husband surprised me with this several months ago and I use it almost daily. I love that I control what cleaner is used and that the pad is rewashable. We have washed the pad numerous times and it comes out of the wash looking brand new everytime. Trust me, when I do wash the pad it goes in really filthy. Overall I am VERY happy with this product - my 4 kids even use it, they have a blast with it. It is also very sturdy, we have put this through the kid test time and time again. The handle does not bow or bend and feels substantial when you use the mop. The pad also absorbs a lot of liquid too. So even if there is too much spraying action, which can happen with the 5 yr old, the pad cleans it all up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for Dog Owners!

I have 3 Saint Bernards (therapy dogs) that live in my home in the country. I live in OH where it rains nearly every other day. I have tried almost every mop there is from the foam ones to the long cotton string mops that the janitors use. They always mildewed and were hard to clean.
I first saw this mop when they were using at a rehab hospital when I went to visit a friend. I was so impressed I had to call housekeeping to see what it was called and where they got it. It is light weight and comes with a microfiber pad that is reusable and washable (hand or machine) up to 100 times (by machine). It comes in 2 sizes--red one is for normal floors, and blue one (professional size) is for large floor areas. The pad is securely mounted to the mop with velcro and is easily removed for washing. It comes with a fluid bottle (I just use water) and they sell extra bottles and pads if you have multi surfaces.I use the same pad and water for my tile and linoleum floors. It has a squirt feature that you can use to mop with, but I just dampen the pad with the squirt attachment at the sink (it's quicker) before I mop. The texture and size get the floor clean and the head swivels to get into tight spaces. The pad dries quickly and doesn't mildew. Afterwards I just pull the pad and either launder it or hand wash it with a little dish soap.
I love it, there is no bucket to use and you can have a clean mop head (pad) each time you do floors, which in my house, is several times a day. It is reasonably priced too.
I would just suggest that the bottle be secured a little better onto its fitting. Otherwise it's great.

Broke after 3 months

I bought this product and loved it, however today it snapped off at the handle and I was able to see how poorly constructed it was. Where all of the turning and pressure rests is just a very thin plastic area. Very disappointed.

Love this mop

Bought this mop to replace a rag mop. Absolutely love it. Saves money time and the environment. The only problem I have now is that it stopped spraying. i have cleaned, let it air and still it won't spray. I am dismayed as this mop is not cheap!

If a waxy cleaner was used in the mop, it may have clogged the sprayer or the reservoir of the mop. We suggest running the spray nozzle on the mop under hot water to clean it, and run hot water through the reservoir to remove the waxy build up.
If this does not fix the problem with your mop, or a waxy substance wasn't used and the mop stopped spraying, we ask that you please call our Consumer Service Department at 888-895-2110, Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm ET.

I love the concept, I love the mop. I have not had any problems with it except for the fact that the mop head is to big, well to long to be exact. I own a small house and it is simply to large for my floors! I imagine there are others out there with smaller houses or apartments that would agree with me. I am a housekeeper and have several clients I have purchased reveal mops for, each of of them that have large home and I continue to use each one and love them. I have tried using the reveal mop in the smaller homes of my clients and it is way to big. If you made a smaller version about half the size, that would be perfect for smaller home owners (like me) and for apartment dwellers.
