Cleaner spilled everywhere!

I just bought this today, and wondered how the cleaner would keep from spilling out when I turned the bottle upside down to load the mop, so instead turned the mop upside down to load the bottle. It worked ok at first, but after I moved the mop to it's storage spot, I noticed the cleaner had leaked out everywhere. Looking at the photos and demos on here, it seems that my mop was missing a bottle lid, so now I'm just out the money for a mop I can't use. :(
I was really looking forward to being able to use my own cleaners.

best mop ever!!!!

I have had 2 of them for more then 2 years, 1 for kitchen and Bathroom in which I put Mr Clean and chlorox in, and the other for my wood floors, I have 4 cats and a dog and use them daily, my brother who visited from Canada bought 2 for his wife and she loves them, love the fack you can throw the pads in the washer/dryer, I have 10 pads so I always have a clean one, only complaint is 1 of the bottles collapses as soon as I start using it, it' doesn't affect the mopping but it's bothersome
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this mop about 8 - 9 months ago. I was very pleased with the mop -- I liked that I could make my own solutions and the fact that the mopping pad was reusable. BUT, it recently stopped spraying and I have since found that this is very common. I generally find Rubbermaid items to be of quality but because of this, I will not buy another Reveal mop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best I've Used For In-Between Moppings!

Our home is mainly carpeted, with the exception of the kitchen and three bathrooms, all of which are mostly white linoleum. This linoleum is the textured, cheap kind that never really looks clean to me, and needs frequent cleaning. We used to use the other brand of spray mops, (the one with the disposable cleaning pads, batteries and expensive spray wash solution), but it never really cleaned the floors well, just sort of pushed a filmy line around, which I would have to stop, get a paper towel, bend over and wipe away, which is very difficult when my back pain flares up. Also, it was very expensive to have to keep buying the disposable pads, batteries and proprietary cleaner bottles. I was frustrated, but didn't want to have to pull out the mop and bucket every other day and mop; I thought there has to be a better way...
I found the better way when I found the Rubbermaid Reveal Mop system, and it works beautifully. I add my OWN cleaner to the bottle, put the WASHABLE mop head pad on, and spray as needed with the MANUAL spray TRIGGER! No more expensive pads, cleaner bottles or batteries to maintain this spray mop! The padded mop head is much more effective and cleaning and holding onto the debris than my previous brand of spray mops, very easy to use, much less expensive to maintain, and is a common sense cleaning tool in my cleaning supplies. Thank you, Rubbermaid, for making the Reveal Spray Mop! Maintaining my floors has never been easier!

Loved it till it quit working!

I love the whole concept of extra pads and bottles and loved using it until the trigger stopped working. Also, used a Bona that was left in our new house and it had a much stronger spray. My Reveal just spits and you have to pump and pump the trigger to get that amount. What happened to it? I rinsed the spray hole and it didn't help. HELP!! (My reviews are based on current use, I would have given 5 stars on everything at the beginning)

Worked Great........

I have been waiting for my other mop to break so I could buy this one. I was so excited I could use my own cleaner. It worked great for the first few time. Now it works once in a while. The sprayer stops and the cleaner just drips out. It is a great idea for a mop it just needs to be redesigned.

I loved this mop, till the bottle broke and now I can not get a new one? What a waste.
