Bottle stuck

I can not remove the bottle. I have tried everything. Please help me. This is my second one, the first lasted many years and i replaced it when the swivel connector broke. I hate to buy another if i can’t remove the bottle.

I have been loyally using RubberMaid products for more than 30 years. They are almost always built to last. So when my wife and myself saw the new "Reveal" mop it was a no brainer to purchase. We also picked up an extra pad and bottle, all at Home Depot. Good prices. When I was removing the packaging (nice & minimal), we noticed that the o-rings on both bottles we cracking in multiple places and were not going to last very long if at all. Strange for a newly purchased & new product. Needless to say we will be calling RubberMaid next Monday to hopefully get replacements. Not a big deal over all but, frustrating for a brand new purchase. The good news is that the mop itself seems to be working just fine. Time will tell but, for now it is nice for us to not have to get on our hands and knees to clean the floors for a change.

YOU CAN FIX IT! DON'T GIVE UP ON THIS AWESOME MOP!

You're going to think I work for Rubbermaid -- I don't -- Just a NC stay-at-home mom who USED to be a Swiffer Wet Jet lover. This mop is WAY better -- stronger, better spray, and much more economical!! So my mop stopped spraying properly after 5 weeks ....It would do one spray and then take about 5 minutes to be able to spray again. I realized that I had used a wood floor cleaner that was too greasy -- I think I clogged the line somehow. I took the bottle off, sprayed the red screw on lid with 409 de-greaser and soaked it in a cup of hot water for just a minute...then ran it under hot water. Then I stuck the mop in the sink, sprayed it with some 409 cleaner and then ran hot water directly onto to where the bottle attaches....I repeatedly squeezed the spray handle and NOW IT WORKS LIKE IT'S BRAND NEW AGAIN!! Good luck with this EASY FIX -- and DON'T USE ANY HARD WOOD FLOOR CLEANERS WITH OIL IN THIS MOP.

Hard to scrub tough dirt

This mop was love at first sight- I mean, how much easier can mopping get when the spray is right there!! But when I tried it out, I had two hangups. One was that there was no good way to rinse the mop, meaning at some point you are smearing dirt instead of mopping up. The other problem was that the cleaning pad really didn't have the strength to mop up tough dirt. The basic dirt would get cleaned up, but spilled yogurt and spaghetti sauce took forever and even then I had to scrub some by hand. That really made me not feel like this was worth it. I rated this 4 stars because I loved everything else about it and not everyone has kids making enormous messes that require rinsing the mop frequently or scrubbing the floor intensely.

The sprayer keeps getting clogged. I can't mop all the kitchen floor before it clogs. I love rubbermaid products but worst mop ever.

Terrible, mine leaks all over the place. No control over the cleaner, leaks right out without even pushing the level. Terrible...

Love this mop!

This mop is so much better than the swiffer mop which I have been using until recently. I don't have any more streaks left on the floor like I did with the swiffer. I love that I can use the cleaner that is made for my no wax floor. My floor looks great. Thank you for making such a great product.

Broken at the base

I purchased my Reveal Mop in September 2012. I have loved it until now. I am a professional house cleaner and my clients have different preferences on what solution is used on their hardwood floors. I could just pour a different solution in each bottle and be good to go. No spills, no spray bottles to hold, and no awkward microfiber mop cover to handle. So, today as I was finishing up a job and loading the mop into my car, the base of the handle broke into two pieces. It isn't fixable and am considering purchasing a replacement. But, it seems this is common thing to happen and I'd like to get more than 6 months use out of a mop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
