Too Good To Be True

I was given the Rubbermaid Reveal as a gift from my mother when we moved in to a new home with tile and laminate floors.
I too was pleasently surprised at how well it worked. However just like the other users, I used it a couple of times fine and now the sprayer will not spray anymore.
So now I have yet another product that was supposed to be the miracle floor cleaner and it doesn't deliver.
If you have a spray bottle you can put the cleaner in it and still use the mop but then what makes this any different from all the others now?
I am very disappointed in this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really really like this mop. I bought one for home and one for my store. Love the fact that you control how much cleaner you use and that the mop head is washable so I feel that its always 'clean' to start with. BUT. I have snapped off the handle to one already and cracked the 2nd one. PLEASE relook at the handle and how you can make it stronger for us active moppers.

Better Then I Hoped

Just got my Reveal mop today and it works better then I had hoped. There is nothing enjoyable about washing floors so if this mop can make it as easy as it can be, then I say, "Bravo" Rubbermaid. My only suggestion is to have a rag available to wipe overspray from walls and cabinets.

I have been using a swiffer wet jet for years now and have always been frustrated with having to purchase product specific pads and cleaning solutions, not to mention batteries for the spray action to work. Such a waste of money and they are NOT cheap! When I heard about the new rubbermaid reveal coming out I was very excited about the concept of the reusable microfiber pad and refillable bottle. I recently purchased one and my satisfaction goes beyond just those benefits! The cleaning is amazing, it cleans about 25% more surface area than the swiffer which is fantastic when you are covering large areas, a real time saver! I already have seperate pads and labeled bottles for my tile and wood floors. Just a quick change out and both floors are done! Now I can donate my expensive to use swiffer and wood floor mop and just use my reveal! Less clutter, more efficient and better for the environment & my pocket book, what more could you ask for? Thanks Rubbermaid!!!

The best...

Best mop ever!!! So much easier to wash this mop than the old cotton string mops... Love this mop. I actually don't mind mopping now... :) I plan on getting more bottles so I can have different mixes made up plus one with just water...

I saw this product at Sam's & bought it on impulse. What a fabulous "impulse" buy. I have all over 2,000 sq. ft. of solid surfaces downstairs. With a traditional mop it took me 45 minues to mop. Now it takes me 20. I would defnately recommended buying an extra pad to have on hand. It does get clogged if you use too much cleaner in the bottle. After mopping, I sit it in the sink & run water thru it & use the sprayer to clean out the inside. I LOVE it!

I’ve owned this mop since last summer when they first came out. They weren’t even available in stores yet .
I use it every week and I love it. The longer I use it the more familiar I become with it, like how much pressure to squeeze with for the amount of water I want to spray out and how far one spray will clean.
Mostly I just use water in my mop and it cleans very well. Microfiber is a new love of mine, I use it for all of my cleaning. Just like microfiber cleaning cloths the microfiber mop pad works best when it is damp, not saturated. It was hard retraining myself not to use as much water as one normally would. But I’m more comfortable with the new way of mopping now and I trust the mop to do it’s job.
Once in awhile after I refill the bottle the mop won’t spray, but it is only because the bottle didn’t snap connected just right. I can tell a difference when I then try to remove the bottle again, it’s harder to remove than usual and when I do get it out I hear the release of a bit of vacuum caused by my attempts to spray. I simply reinsert the bottle and everything is fine.
This is really a great mop if you give it a chance. Some longtime hardcore rag mop users may not be able to accept the idea of mopping without a huge bucket of water. But former Swiffer users will love it once they get used to it.

I used a mop system such as this in a hospital that I worked in for several years and loved it. Theory was that clean solution was always going on the floors so no dirty water was being reused. A new mop head was used for every room so no carrying germs from room to room. Always wanted someone to make a home model, I seen them advertised on TV and started looking for one. On my birthday found one while I was grocery shopping. Best gift I received....from me.
Think of the savings on cleaning solutions alone, a few capfuls compared to 1/2 cup or more to clean your floors.....washable mop heads....
