SO POORLY MADE!

I purchased this product along with several pricey washable pads only to have the squirting mechanism quit working before the mop was six months old! I had to use a Windex bottle to spray the cleaner on the floor. Today, with the mop less than one year old, the handle snapped at the base whilst I was cleaning the kitchen floor. Now I am forced to either go out a purchase ANOTHER inferior Reveal mop so I can make use of the washable pads I purchased, or spend even more money and purchase the Bona Floor System which appears to be more sturdily constructed. I will have to say the re-usable cleaning pads are excellent, they wash well and last at least a year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have both the old and new and improved models, they both work the same, except the new one has the scrubber. I use to have a scrubby pad on the floor not far from me incase I found a spot that needed extra scrubbing. With the new mop, I tried the scrubber and it worked on very light scrubbing. I was afraid to really give it a real work out. I really did not like the feel of the handle when I started to scrub. It felt like it could break, so I'll keep my scrubby on the floor with me. I mop every other day, I only have tile floors, so I need to stay on top of it. The very first time I used the mop, it took a bit of time for the the spray to come out. I kind of expected this so I made sure I had the extra time for that. I love the washable pads, I keep several on hand. I always have a clean one on the mop, just incase of spilled dog water, or a muddy floor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My favorite mop is back!

Thank you, Rubbermaid, for listening to customers and improving your design! My two big issues with the previous model of this mop have been resolved. 1) The bottle no longer collapses on itself or leaks. The seal is secure. 2) The pole and base feel much more sturdy. It withstood full scrubbing pressure. The scrub top you added is genius. It worked so well. I also like the improvements made to the trigger. It feels stronger and doesn't catch. It's ready to go every time. And the actual spray feels wider and more controlled. I am so happy with the new version! This is a fantastic spray mop.

Very Impressed with new Rubbermaid Mop

I am very impressed with my new rubbermaid mop. It is so easy to use and the new scrub pad makes getting up tough spots very easy. I also love that you can use any cleaner in the bottle and the pad is washable. Thank you rubbermaid for making things right...

Improved for the Better

I have the previous Reveal Mop and now the new and improved mop. Rubbermaid has done a fabulous job by adding the scrubbing pad to the mop head for stubborn areas. Also, with my previous Reveal Mop, I had issues with the mop head snapping off. Rubbermaid has improved the area where the head sits on the base to not snap off now. The mop works for every day cleaning, spot mops even cleaning ceilings. The pivot motion is fab for easy maneuverability. The lightweight design is awesome for little ones to even help with cleaning duties. My favorite feature has always been the refillable bottle so I can use my own solution without having to purchase expensive floor cleaners. Also, the microfiber pads are washable! I highly recommend to everyone I know!
