Good product but breaks easily

I have used my Reveal for about 12 months - it is a good product however the quality of the material used is not so good. The cleaning head completely broke off of the handle shaft and I found it was simply glued at the factory level. I was not able to return it to the retailer so now I will have to purchase a new one. Not so happy with spending $$ on a new unit within one year!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing Product!!

I just received my Rubbermaid Reveal yesterday. OMGosh!! I LOVE it!!! And the best part???? No batteries required unlike that Swiffer Nightmare. It's comfortable to use, and I like that I get to use MY OWN cleaning solutions. Thank You Rubbermaid. YOU ROCK!!!

A complete waste of money. The O-rings don't seal properly. The weight of the water in the bottle is apparently supposed to provide enough pressure to ensure a tight seal. It isn't. The mop leaks and the spray function is irregular as it depends on a functioning seal. I had already disposed of the receipt so I can't request a refund on a nonfunctional design. I trusted Rubbermaid to my misfortune. I am very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear of your experience with your Reveal Mop. Please make sure that there is no blue foam insert between the bottle and the grey receptacle as this should be removed if there is. Also, make sure that the mop bottle is securely pressed all the way down into the grey receptacle to form a seal.

Could have been a good product

Unfortunately, this is an overpriced plastic piece of junk. While the reusable sprayer and pads are great, the mop itself is flimsy at best. Great idea terrible execution. After the first month, the head kept snapping away from the body... after that the sprayer mount kept disengaging. Now, the thing can't be picked up without falling into three parts. What a waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WAS great until

I had to get one after using my sisters. I thought it was amazing. Light weight easy to use didnt take up much space. I had my Reveal spray mop for four months and loved it. My Brother had also bought one last month. He informed me whole using his the base broke off. I had noticed it was a lil weak in the base but never figured anything bad. I just used my mop and the base of it has busted into pieces... Please fix!

We do apologize that you are having trouble with your Reveal Mop. Some tricks for use:
1. Run the tip of the bottle under warm water for up to a minute before inserting into the mop.
2. While the bottle is upside down (filled with water), push in on the nozzle to check that the water is being released.
3. Once the bottle has been clicked into the mop, you may need to "prime" the mop by pulling the trigger 5-10 times to pump the solution through.

Love my Reveal!

I've had the Reveal for over a year. The only negative thing I can say is if you try to "scrub" with it, the head comes off. It's great for everyday, light cleaning of your floors. I had linoleum and now have wood click flooring and it does a great job. I LOVE that I can use whatever cleaner I want and the pads are washable. No more buying specific expensive cleaner from Swifter, or the little disposable pads. I am trying to be greener with everything I can and this is great. You do need to use a sponge or something for stubborn spots. Overall...LOVE IT and would NEVER go back to disposable wet mops again!

I am glad to see that I'm not the only one having trouble with this cleaning product. I have had this for 2 months and it worked great the first time it was used. But now it just hangs in the laundry room collecting dust. The sprayer stopped working on it. Not happy at all.
