Perfect Mop for Hardwood Floors

I have hardwood floors and mopping has always been difficult with regular mops. In order to limit water exposure, I have had to mop a section and then go back with a cloth and dry it, then mop another section and dry it... The Reveal is wonderful. I spray just enough cleaning solution to dampen and clean the floor as I go and it dries almost immediately. The microfiber head picks up dirt wonderfully and the handle design is very comfortable to use. Being able to wash the mop head makes so much more sense than wasting money on disposable products. Definitely a GREAT product!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the beat cleaning product I've ever bought. It's so easy to use and I'm not buying throw away pads and expensive cleaners. My only dissapointment is that you don't get two pads, so you can have a clean one while you're washing the dirty pad. I'm going to buy one for each of my daughters,

Exceptional Performance

This is a wonderful mop, the microfiber really scrubs and picks up the dirty liquid. Our floors are vinyl and hardwood. Easy to handle design, lightweight yet powerful.
The microfiber pads are easy to care for-- Just toss in the washing machine!
Plus being able to use the cleaning solution of *MY* choice saves money.
Will be purchasing the new microfiber dry mop heads too.
Best item I've ever purchased on line, Thanks Rubbermaid!

I love this mop, but I am having a problem with the mop head coming off when I'm using it. It is very annoying. I wish you would redesign how it attaches there - maybe a screw with a nut. Anyway, it is very annoying that I have to keep reattaching it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop. For this review, I compared the Rubbermaid mop to my standard mop and bucket that I use for wet cleaning. The biggest advantage is that I can wash the cleaning pad and have clean pad each time I clean my floor. No buying new pads or using the same dirty sponge as with a standard mop. I also love the wide flat base. It easily gets under the front edge of appliances and in all the nooks and crannies that a regular mop can?t. The only thing I didn?t like was the Dry Dusting Pad. I felt like it just pushed the dust/dirt around more than anything. The result: I?m keeping my Swiffer for dry dusting but throwing out my old mop and using the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop for washing my floors.

Mop head comes off

I love the concept of the mop- in fact recommended it to all my family. BUT now every time I mop my floors the head pops off multiple times. I have tried a few different tricks to keep it on but none have worked. Hope the next generation Reveal works better.

I purchased this product only yesterday in anticipation of being able to use my own cleaning solution. I currently own a Swiffer, but I don't like its sickenening sweet smelling solutions. After removing the difficult packaging, trying not to tear it in case I had to return the item and I then attempted to use the mop. I made sure that the bottle was seated correctly and even depressed the tab to make sure that my cleaning solution would dispense. I depressed the sprayer mechanism repeatedly for about 30 seconds. Nothing happened! Got online to troubleshoot, read the company's recommendations for priming- it was everything I had already done, but I tried it once again! Again.... nothing happened! I am packaging this item as soon as I finish this review and it is being returned to the retailer posthaste. I will purchase the O'Cedar product to see if its quality and functionality is any better. Sorry, Rubbermaid, but I am not happy with this product!

I really thought I'd found the mop of my dreams but it broke at the bottom joint the third time I used it. It worked great while it stayed in one piece but for the price this is a very poor choice. Had to go out and buy another option.
