Reveal Spray Mop- only needs one thing.

I also purchased the mop because I am tired of the Swiffers. We have 4 dogs and 3 cats with hardwood or tile floors throughout the house. Because all of our animals are rescues, we do a lot of cleanup and the other mop just didn't cut it. The Reveal has been wonderful- I have them in various rooms with different cleaners in them. I can add warm water and bleach when needed and don't need to buy expensive (or any, I tend to use vinegar) products.
As for it breaking, I broke one on accident but haven't had problems otherwise. I think this may have been because I scrubbed too hard with it. Which leads me to what it is lacking.
A scrubber. I would love to have one for those areas that a mop just won't get up. I have extra mop heads which I throw in the wash with the towels and things and they come out great. I would love to be able to do the same with a scrubber.

Also Broke after only 2 months

I really enjoyed this mop on my laminate floors. I wish it was built to be more durable. I was really disappointed after only 2months use, it broke!! The handle broke at the bottom making the mop garbage..

I finally switched the Reveal after getting tired of paying for Swiffer pads and solution and being unhappy with the results. I love being able to use a homemade solution to clean my floors. And it's economical and eco-friendly to wash the scrubber pad. However, while using it only the SECOND time, it SNAPPED in half! Apparently I am not the only one this happened to. I am really disappointed because everything else about the Reveal seems to be exactly what I want.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken after 2 months

It is by far the best mop I've ever had, but I've only had it for 2 months and it broke where the mop swivels. I wish it was more durable, because I loved how you can choose the cleaning solution and you don't have to buy expensive refills.
Definitely more durable than the stiffer mops!!!

I bought this the other day as I have laminate floors in my whole house and I have 2 dogs and even the micro fiber mops could not clean or get up the hairs .I had to spray before and then wipe the floors up and that took time in 2440 sq. ft. house and this has now made the job so much easier and faster .I held off buying it but finally broke down and bought it and I'm glad I did .Never knew wiping the floors could be so easy and the fact I can use my own cleaner and refill it and save money is even better .Well what did I expect it is rubbermaid .duhh .great product is all I can say try it and you will be convinced too
I would recommend this to a friend!

very dissapointing

I really thought I'd found the mop of my dreams but it broke at the bottom joint the third time I used it. It worked great while it stayed in one piece but for the price this is a very poor choice. Had to go out and buy another option.

bought this twice..waste of money

I bought this mop and one day while i was using it , it snapped in two. It looked rusted and I hadn't had it for very long. I thought it was probably because I had left the cleaning solution in for too long I had forgotten it between cleaning. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and bought it again.. because it was easy to use and convenient and saved money. But It's not saving any money when it keeps breaking.. today it snapped in the same spot as the last one ( I swear I don't have super human strength I'm just washing my floors like i normally do) Again it looked rusted. This time I had been really aware about removing the cleaner when I was done because of the last time. However it still broke and I will not buy another one. I only wish that I had the receipt I would return it so fast We have only had it since the beginning of December and here we are 3 months later with a broken mop. Nice idea in theory but there is something wrong with the way that it is built.

Rubber Maid Reveal

Problem with sprayer not working. Sprayer is a pump up system - pump trigger several times to get u going. If U like more liguid spraying from nozzel, it can be easly opened with a needle or toothpick directly into spray nozzel. Handle a little short for taller folks.

1. Run the tip of the bottle under warm water for up to a minute before inserting into the mop.
2. Once the bottle has been clicked into the mop, you may need to "prime" the mop by pulling the trigger 5-10 times to pump the solution through.
