I purchased this product to replace my Swiffer mop and cut down on costs of the pads and the liquid. It was great to use but just broke... a small plastic piece that holds the head of the mop to the handle... Seems like a waste to throw away the whole thing for a very small, less than an inch piece of plastic... To be honest, I was disappointed to see it was built that way... I would have expected a piece of nylon or metal instead...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When purchasing this product I was so happy to be using something all in one. I have used this mop twice and on the second time I was in the middle of mopping when the head busted off. I am not a strong person or rough with my items so I know it wasn't me. I am upset that I spend the money on this and it lasted only twice. I am writing to customer service to see how I can get my money back now and hopefully they will give it to me.

Poor quality plastic breaks

Bought 2 and 2 broke. The plastic is weak. First one broke near the head second one broke above the bottle. The convenience and usability are great. To bad they only lasted 3 months each. Maybe I'll try again in a year or so and maybe they will have a redesign. If you are using it for very light use (i.e. you do not have toddlers) then it is a great product.

mop broke

I purchased this mop about a year ago. It worked great. I was happy to not have sheets to throw away or dirty mop heads. A few months ago the handle kept pulling off the mop head when I was mopping. Very frustrating!
Because the product keeps coming apart I can't recommend it.

Spray mop?

After getting this so grand mother can mop the floors. She used it less than a month. Now it won't spray. Thank now were going back to the old mop! Total waist of money!

We do apologize that you are having trouble with your Reveal Mop. Some tricks for use:
1. Run the tip of the bottle under warm water for up to a minute before inserting into the mop.
2. Once the bottle has been clicked into the mop, you may need to "prime" the mop by pulling the trigger 5-10 times to pump the solution through.
If you feel your Rubbermaid item is defective and failed shortly after purchase, we ask that you contact our Consumer Services Department toll free at 888-895-2110, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST, M-F.

i love it its light weight glides across the floor. mop pad traps dirt quite nicely, love the fact you just pull it off and toss it in the wash. have had no problems with the bottle quality, i think maybe some peoples mops may have a clog in the air flow under the cap or something of that nature because I've had no bottle suction problems. NO BATTERIES make it cost efficient along with NOT having to use a new pad every time i clean my floors. The most important reason for my buying this is due to freak allergies to antibacterials in cleaning solutions, so i choose what goes in my mop now. its great to know whats going on my floors, and if it is pet and people friendly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor Construction

It worked great at the beginning. It was a huge time-saver by not having to wet the surface or the mop pad all of the time. A quick spray where it's needed and it cleaned it up right away.
But then six weeks into it the handle broke off when spraying. I wasn't using excessive force. It was the normal spraying action that caused the plastic to break off at the base. It appears several other people are having the exact same problem. This isn't the usual Rubbermaid quality I'm used to, so I'll chalk it up do a design fluke if they issue a replacement that works.

Best Spray Mop

I just used this spray mop for the 1st time and I loved it! It uses less cleaning solution and the cloth is so dense I didn't have to use much effort to scrub smudges.
I would recommend this to a friend!
